- In this video, I'll show you how to set up Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager on your Shopify Store. Sometimes relying on data from Shopify analytics isn't enough but now you don't have to.
With these two tools you'll be able to gather more data on what your customers are doing on your store so you can figure out how to turn more of your site traffic into actual customers.

Nice video. From 4:42 you explained the mailadress of your shopify needs to be the same as your mail from Google analytics. Is that a must or is it possible to use another mailadress then your mailadress of shopify?

Around the 24-minute mark, you walk through how to create a tag. The option to select "Google Analytics GA4 Configuration" isn't showing up for me as the only Google Analytics option I see is "Google Analytics: GA4 Event". Is this the same thing or do I need to select another option?
It says some of my pages are not tagged- can you help me with this?

Do you install Shopify Google app AND also install the tag manager code in the liquid file? I thought it was one or the other.
I think you might be able to install both Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager with the Google App.
I couldn’t find the option for Google Tag Manager when I originally made the video which is why I opted to put into the file directly.
@@codethatconverts Right, things changed since then. I think now G4 analytics merged with Google tag manager so now shopify Google app would connect to G4/tag manager easily.
