Nice video. From 4:42 you explained the mailadress of your shopify needs to be the same as your mail from Google analytics. Is that a must or is it possible to use another mailadress then your mailadress of shopify?

So... this is really just a simulacrumb not a true breadcrumb. And yes feel free to use the name I came up with for this approach - it's less misleading. A true breadcrumb documents the users path through the site. As other commenters have pointed out, this code preferences one static path of multiple possibilities. It has nothing to do with user experience. If you are trying to write logic to create a better interface for site visitors who navigated to the product through one collection vs another, this code here is not helpful. One major shortcoming is that it provides no solutions for products navigated to from a "customize this" collection vs a "default options" collection. The same item is available through each but with different options, different shipping speeds, etc. It's an unfortunate issue that Shopify 2.0 can't actually optimize canonical breadcrumbs. It makes the user experience way worse.

Around the 24-minute mark, you walk through how to create a tag. The option to select "Google Analytics GA4 Configuration" isn't showing up for me as the only Google Analytics option I see is "Google Analytics: GA4 Event". Is this the same thing or do I need to select another option?

The problem with this method is that i need to add in the fixed no. Of sub-collections. However, I have collections where the no of sub-collections I want to show vary. If I make a template of 3 sub-collections and link 2 sub-collections only, the 3rd block in the collection list does not disappear dynamically and shows up as empty on the page. The only solution is to create a separate template for each collection page then. Not sure if I explained it properly.

Unfortunately, this is some kind of fraud that leads to registration for subscriptions and creation of accounts on websites. Ultimately, the instructions do not come via e-mail and cannot be found anywhere. I do not recommend.
