Definitely agree and the speed of these BW. My first use i went into motion painting and quickly realized i need slow waay down. I was kinda impressed with the fan and spray pattern. But the speed is little to be desired. Im gonna have to check out a 4600 1.2xl or 1.3. I like a really fast gun. Looks like it was laying it on really nice and flat even at the speed youre spraying.
Not a bad gun for the money. I've got the 1.7 for primer. My regular gun is a Sata b with a 2.1. The fan control on the hf. Is not great and it uses even more material than my 2.1. For under 200 bucks it is pretty good though.
i just picked one up (rear fan, hte) to replace my 3000b as a sealer gun and just for shits i cleared a job with it, not gona lie, my 5000rp has been collecting dust.

Hey Joel, fantastic finish from the 4600 Extreme and as you mentioned these guns are quite fast, this is one of the few guns that I haven't used as I can't think of any other high end gun I don't have, I don't think the harbour freight gun is available here so I can't comment on how good they are but there are a lot of positive reviews for the new one. I've been reading all the negative comments on your social media channel about the UV putties and primer that you use, is it that people are just stuck in their ways and refuse to admit that UV is the future of this industry, I just hope that they soon bring out a good usable UV clear but I don't know when this will happen, maybe you should do a video on here dispelling the myths about UV products which might keep some of the nay sayers quiet🤷♂🙄😂John UK

i beg to differ on speed i have a 4600 and supernova and got the sagola from watching your stuff but their the same speed and my 5500 is faster than both but it doesnt do glass work

Since I’m a beginner I can get the side adjustment gun for $149.99. Their new gun with the read adjustment is still $179.99. Could I use just one of these for all coats ? Or do you suggest both for separate jobs. Thanks , Steve
@@zenlandzipline I wanted a 1.4 needle and cap. I emailed corporation and they sworn that the older black widow was interchangeable with the new ones. They were wrong 1.7 is for primer and thick paints. When I spray with my old Husky 1.4 spray gun from home depot. It lays flat and no orange peel
Do you have any videos that break down the differences between the dvr clear cap and the Titania cap? Which is faster and which one produces the better off the gun finish?
I myself don't like side fan controls ! Same as my SATA guns. I always rest my thumb on it and way to easy to change settings accidentally ! Big down fall my opinion.
What's with all that background noise? It sounds like it's the exhaust fans. I would have marked the guns, showing us which gun you were using, as they both look alike. I would like to see a video showing how to properly mask a vehicle for painting. That is an art all by itself.
They’re definitely not cheap! The one I use can be purchased through pro spot welding. Out of all of them it’s the best I’ve used and I’ve used pretty much every major branded one. Puts out the most air by far!

I’ve been using UV primers and Putties more than anything else. They work better and fix a lot of refinishing issues in a jiffy!

Not stupid at all! It’s a vented cup! That twist is me just opening the vent allowing the paint to flow!

I use the ionstar you can get them from pro spot welding! Best one I’ve used by far and I’ve used literally all of them!
