This was so cristal clear for me. Thank you Sir. I took a page and draw a huge plus. I took out the valves after i mesured them and did the whole A+B-E=C calculation. Man the bike purred like a kitten. This was so great put toghether. I was scared because mine was like .02-.12 or something and that gives anegative number. Hey. I was just watching and noticed you said that the shims were worn. It's more than likely the valves themselves are worn. I think at the clearances you were getting, it's ready to drop a valve. Beware
@@kenkenny4238 actually the stock valves stretch and require a thicker shim to Take up the slack to the rocker . But yes ultimately the valves will fail

So your original sim was 1.86 .. and you say it was wore down .. and you replaced it with a 1.77 or 1.80? That doesn’t make much sense..
A it’s not in mm it’s 0.12” 0.28”
