Getting the feds involved is getting rid of accountability and due diligence on behalf of the grading companies.
I use my homemade cream to clean all my cards
At the end of the day the card should be graded and evaluated based off the condition from the pack. If print issues or card defects are corrected then it is an alternation and the card has been changed. This should have a different grading category from pack fresh evaluated.
That’s why I never grade raw cards I did not pull myself .. everything I send to PSA is something I pulled myself straight from the pack ….

This is just another rule that a grader can enforce to take a grading fee while also not grading the card. Ruxin just got a return that had a card turned away because of recoloring that was obviously not recolored. I guarantee they took his money.
Yes, it will remove it polishing that’s why for cars they have a reader to see how thick the paint is to see if it can continue to be polished or if it’s too thin and low, so yes, the same with the card
There’s a difference between people rubbing dirt out of cards and those who do horrible crimes like putting chemicals on the carda
This is good news. But this is very concerning as I purchase raw cards all the time from ebay, TCG, and card shows. Ive graded with PSA in the past but it would really suck if future submissions come up as altered if I was unaware of it.
So, what the point of declaring a value for PSA if they will not pay that amount out, but it ok for them to up charge you if your card grades higher than what you paid for! the who stole of 73 thousand dollars should have both he hands removed and how do you get time serve that nonsense any work he does should have money removed for the people he rips off.

If PSA wanted to actually help the community they would stop grading until they find a way to catch altered cards I saw a creased grail get a PSA 10 in a matter of weeks this month, this is PSA shaking all blame to some future sucker that sells one of those cards, just like the signed card that PSA graded and then called fake after 🥴

The amount of card "cleaners"/"polishers" etc. on TikTok that defend what they are doing before submitting for grading is actually disgusting. Of course, CGC allows these to go through the majority of the time as well lol
