    • @ExpatsEverywhere

      That's a hard question to answer really. What are we comparing it to? Are we talking about friendly in terms of safety or friendly in terms of meeting people?

      Its a friendly country, friendly people but like she said its very difficult to stay there past your visit visa government doesn't allow you to overstate your welcome.

    She said do not contact the Police because they love the bribe for asking the direction? That is crap. Maybe she thinks police should entertain all those inquiries. I dont think police in US will entertain the Asians in the same way too.

    • @dieexplorer9230
      @dieexplorer9230 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yeah!! if she said she had been pulled over for some offenses and the police ask for bribe to let her of the hook then I would somewhat believe her but asking bribe for merely asking direction is TOTALLY PREPOSTEROUS statement..

    • @ahmadrushdi1842
      @ahmadrushdi1842 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      yea she does some offence and police ask her bribe to make go away that maybe happened(but try not to) but asking money for direction is a bit far fetch (99% untrue)..

      Its funny that you get mad at what she said about a bribe to a Malay cop but then completely lump in every single cop in America as to how they would react to an Asian?

      @@dieexplorer9230 I have been stopped by Malaysian police before...they have tactics....wont let you go til they get what they want. I didnt make a mistake in my driving...but they wanted a bribe to go away.....its common practice in Malaysia cos police are low paid

    Wow, this girl just cannot give a straight answer and I can feel the frustration of the interviewer having to ask and rephrase the same question several times. She even says at 1:16 that in Malaysia no one gave her a straight answer, well how ironic.

    • @ExpatsEverywhere
      @ExpatsEverywhere  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the comment, Steve C. Is there anything in particular you were hoping the interviewee would answer? Maybe we can help.

    • @daisydaffsforever723
      @daisydaffsforever723 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      She cant give a straigh answer cos Malaysian government is sensitive to criticism...cos criticism has an element of truth in it
