At 9:26, you recommend having the battery replaced by a jeweler you trust. I did that -- and voided my 2-year warranty. I liked the watch until it showed low battery by skipping seconds by 2's. After changing the battery, it still did that. Then the chrono failed, then the watch stopped. AVI-8 support and their official warranty channels were kind of okay, though they charged me $28 to look at the watch under warranty (??). Then they voided the warranty due to the jeweler changing the battery. What do I do when my second AVI-8 needs a battery? Send it to warranty for $28 plus postage? Ha!
That sucks. I’ve never had an issue with mine. I have an Invicta that died last week. I did learn not to take a watch to batteries plus they ruined two of my gshock watches and didn’t cover to replace them.

Nice! People have stopped wearing watches because of tgeir phone. I like a watch just to limit how many times I pick up my phone
I Agree %100000. Especially when I’m on the trail.
Great review on a very cool watch! Thanks my friend!
Seems like the seconds hand doesn't hit the markers at all...😐
