Man, Eric, true words:" It's a beautiful profession but a tough business." Felt so wrecked as the Royals front office let go of the precious players from the 2014-2015 teams. Wishing you lots of success!
When is the movie about the Kansas City Royals run in 2014-2015? That is a story for the BIG screen! Those runs in 2014-2015 ignited a city… gave meaning to life more than many will understand. I was in a super dark place mentally in 2014-15, and those seasons were special. They were different… different than this magical KC Chiefs run. Yes the Chiefs are special AND there was something about that Royals team. I keep saying “something” because it was real. We all felt it. Whether it was the playfulness of Salvy, razing Lo Cain, that’s what speed do with Dyson, Hosmer’s clutch hits, Moose’s legendary throws, Gordon’s consistency, and the legendary HDH (and so much more). It was the most magical time in KC history. I believe it truly ignited the way for the Chiefs…. Thank you Hoz, and Anthony! Energized to see what magic you bring forth! 😉💜🙌🏼🙏💫✨
Congrats Hos on a heck of a career! Can't wait to watch you enter the Royals Hall of Fame. Enjoy your retirement and can't wait to see your venture take off.
Headed to spring training in a couple days. I have several baseballs and a Padres jersey you signed during spring training. You were always so kind and thoughtful to your fans. Thank you for all the Kansas City Royals memories.
Remember watching Hosmer score that tying run in New York and winning that 2015 chip on my 11th birthday. Love you forever Hos, great episode, keep this thing going I’ll always support it.
I was 2 when the royals won the series in '85. Been taking my kids to the K since they were in diapers. That playoff run in 2014 was the most fun we've ever had watching baseball. My god that was exciting. Kelvin in the 8th then holland in the 9th. All of you guys. gordon, salvy, locain, moose, hos. What a team. I still get goosebumps watching highlights from those games.
So happy there's an outlet for mlb players and fans to turn to. I'm a Jets fan in Missouri, like hos is a giants fan, don't care and appreciate his enthusiasm. Hope this becomes THE podcast for mlb players to come to for resources to get the view they want. 2015 is the best year of my life, eli isn't elite but, love hearing players prospectives!
God, I am old! Both Hoz and Anthony were on my bus in Wilmington! Miss hanging with those guys. It was the time of my life. Thanks for the memories, guys!
Happy retirement and thank you for giving us Kansas Kansas city folks a World Series trophy very much appreciate you and what you have done for Kansas City words cannot express how much I appreciate it
Congrats Eric. Lifelong Royals fan since the George Brett Hal McRae days. Thanks for the memories. I was there when you beaned Alex Cobb in TB with that 106 mph line drive.
Congrats on Hoz! Long time Royals fan. Actually got to meet Hoz and shake his hand in Vegas over Super Bowl weekend at Circa, he was very gracious, and I was excited to have the opportunity to Thank him for all he did for the Royals. Wish him nothing but success with MoonBall and the Podcast. Enjoyed the episode.
Love when you guys talk about the bond you make with your teammates and the friendships. I always say, “I don’t miss playing as much, but I do miss being with my boys everyday.”
Congrats on retirement!! KC still holds you in high regard and we are so thankful for what you brought to our city. Hopefully you can sign a 1 day contract to retire a Royal and they can put you in the Royals HOF this summer!
Late to the party, not sure how I didn't know Hos and crew had a podcast. Real baseball discussions from true professionals. Forever Royal. Appreciate the behind the scenes prospectives from you guys. Great work and good luck! Time to catch up on the pods I've missed
So glad you ended up with our beautiful news girl! Congrats on retirement and your family. You were my favorite player. Knock it out of the parl with your new career! You will be great! I will be listening!
Hosmer, your career is like a time capsule for me. I was on a high school field when I learned of you getting called up. You were somebody to look up to for youth in the KC area. I was the one wearing #35 on my teams. Now, I'm into my fourth year of coaching high school ball, and look forward to good content on this podcast to pass along to aspiring baseball players. I'm ready to buy a ticket for your ceremony at Kauffman.
You were one of my favorite players on my home team KC ROYALS! WE WILL MISS YOUR TOUGH EXCITING PLAY AND YOUR LEADERSHIP! Also, so glad you found your way back to our cute little news person in Kansas City. Somehow I knew you would find your way back to each other. Congrats on your family and new career. You will be fabulous!
I remember watching your first game in the bigs on a Friday night in KC! I love the Royals and have seen more losing than winning, for sure. Thank you for bringing a championship to KC!! Your career in KC has been the brightest years of my fandom 🙌
Congrats on retirement, Eric. Watching you come up and thrive with the Royals was a thing of beauty and was such an honor to watch you. I still have a FatHead of you on my door from when i was like 10😭. Anyways, can’t wait to see where this channel and your company go down the road!
Saw Su’a give a class at BYU for a weekend in the summer & man he’s infectious & u wanna keep a guy like that in your circle, love to see it & get him more exposure
Love that and well said! Su’a is special and he brings the best out of everyone around him. You’ll love his interaction with our guest on this upcoming week’s show. Thanks for listening! 🤎
Hos one my favorite person ever to play with and seratelli is a true professional. Hope nothing but the best for these dudes. Proud to say I get to say I was a teammate to both these guys.

Thank you for retiring! Now u can be a full time podcaster and not have to worry about the pressure of not grounding out with bases loaded (no outs with a 3-0 count as well)
Do a video why you were so trash with the padres. I think all Padres fans are owed an explanation. We heard about your stubbornness when it comes to changing your swing.

Do a video why you were so trash with the padres. I think all Padres fans are owed an explanation. We heard about your stubbornness when it comes to changing your swing.
Also, what the hell were we seeing out on defense? You are a x3 gold winner and you were part of some of the worst fielding that ive seen hahahahahha
The thing that is unforgivable to san diego fans is that you were getting paid big bucks and it just seemed like you didnt care.
“Heard about your stubbornness” 😂 were you there to see it? Did you listen to the podcast? Maybe you should pay more attention.

So now that your retired does that mean the padres dont have to pay you any more or you still rippin them off
Should be Groundball Media
Hosmer you're a bum. We watching Foul Territory.
