Yeah The Metering Is Slick.. But That MONITOR MIX KNOB! Is Just So ******** CONVENIENT!! I Love It! That Knob Should Really Become a BASELINE FEATURE In All Of The Interfaces, IMO. Do You Do Any Artist Work, Or Primarily Engineer..?
I Will Say, Not Much Different Than The Units You Heard In THIS VIDEO. It Really Comes Down To Each Unit's Feature Set & Which One Best Suits Ur Needs. The Quality Of These Units They Are Making These Days, At This Price Point.. ALL SOUND GREAT. If You Have a Good Understanding Of How To Optimize Your Recordings & And Have Some Decent "Mixing Chops", You Can Make Great Sounding Records with All 4 Of Them, Which INTERFACE Is Ur Gut Saying To Go With..?
Innnteresting Take On Things. With That, I Must Say.. We Were ABLE TO ACHIEVE Virtually No Latency With ALL 4 UNITS. And While The AUDIENT Is DEFINITELY a Smooth Sounding Unit.. For Me, It Was The Least Intuitive To Use of The 4 Units. Which May Not Be An Issue For Those Who're Down To "Get Dirty" With The User Manual.. But For Beginners Who Are Just Wanting To Grab An Interface And Go, The iD14 MKII May Not Be For Them.
☺You & Me Both. I Know at a Casual Listen There's Not a "Night & Day" Difference.. But Nonetheless There Are Sonic Differences Between These Units. With That Said, These Audio Samples Are An Excellent Source For EAR TRAINING.
I love my Motu M2, zero coloring of the sound, great preamps and zero latency. The metering is definitely a big plus also!

@@mastermiller9776 Ear training for you maybe, but not me. I don't train my ears with random audio samples from TH-cam.
