For those that don't know, wearing gloves while using a rotating tool is a serious safety problem. The grinder can pull gloves into the rotating grind wheel. I wound up taking a coworker to ER because he wore gloves while putting wood on a gang saw, and seriously cut his hand. For those that know OSHA rules, this is a big NoNo.
Totally agree. One of my coworkers LOST 3 fingers due to wearing gloves while operating a 16 inch jointer. He turned them into chips and sent them into the dust collector.
@@matthewwetzel6941 they weren't doing any work with the winch, and were in total control while playing around with it. I've done work that requires full fall protection, so I know the right way to do things.

I have worked metal fabrication and structural installs on Navy ships for 40 years. I am well versed in OSHA and Navosh regulations.
A grinder wheel doesn't pull in anything anywhere because it has nothing to grab a piece of clothe... no teeth, edges or anything. But a grinder wheel to the skin definitely grinds and burns your skin
As an ironworker, Rudy, I'd recommend you wear ear protection and gloves as well. I was using a cutoff wheel once, and the wheel bound up.
