I spent several minutes debating whether or not I should leave this message. I've concluded that I must speak the truth. This is a lip synch performance. I wish I could say otherwise, but it's the way it is. This is not a live performance. I sooo want to say otherwise, but it would be a lie.

I love the very 70s sound of the instruments on this (as well as, of course, her lovely voice), particularly the start (I can't bring to mind what instrument is being used), it's such a lovely tone, very wistful and emotive. As I say, it's very much a 70s style of song, without me being able to say exactly what that style is. Lovely. I was born in the 80s but whenever I've heard a song, watched a TV programme or film from the 70s, there has always been a certain tone that is very individual and one which I like.

She definitely was every young guy’s dream lady of our age.
And note how classy she always was. She didn’t exploit sexuality like Madonna did (and still tries to do). And unlike Madonna, ONJ had genuine musical talent.

One of the most beautiful women I have ever seen. She had an amazing 1970 through 1984. She dominated Country Music at the beginning of the 70's, defined disco along ABBA, Bee Gees and Donna Summer, deliverd one of the most powerful songs if all time in "Hopelessly Devoted", transported us to Xanadu with "Magic", the title song and "A little bit love" and sealed it with "Twist of fate" and the biggest song of the 80's "Physical". We love you!

Olivia puts the light in this dark world with her lovely voice and her beautiful songs. She sounds like an angel. This world needs more sweet love songs like the 70s. Who ever doesn't like this song is in a dark place. Time to know your God in Jesus Christ. All souls belong to him but you make the choice he gives you. God is heaven, Satin Hell. I choose Heaven for eternity.
God Bless Olivia, a good person❤

Absolutely from a completely different time indeed. Her singing was simply effortless. She opened her mouth and the melody just flowed out of her. She is so very beautiful and an amazing vocalist. I just don't understand most music these days. People did this during a time when they didn't have the tools they have today. Incredible!

She was famous in the early to mid seventies, in the Country genre... Actually, a Greatest Hits record of her, I guess, around 1978, had a few of her early Country hits. We had at home that LP recording. I was a kid and deeply impressed by this particular song of Olivia Newton John... Here singing live and with such master musicians as a back up Band... Olivia a beautiful soul with a very non ordinary gift to share... She was brave all through her carrer and recorded several times outside of her confort zone... Much Love ❤

She was famous for being both pop and country early in her career. That is why she is considered one of the first country - pop crossover artists. "Let Me Be There", "If You Love Me (Let Me Know) and "Please Mr. Please" are considered country-pop songs that started in the country charts and crossed over into pop charts. "I Honestly Love You" and "Have You Never Been Mellow" are considered pure pop songs. They crossed over to country on the basis of ONJ's appeal in the country market. She was essentially always considered both country and pop. But most forget that she was pop way before "Grease".

I saw her in concert in Niagara Falls in 2006 and the guy I paid $100 to for the ticket went up to her after the completion of one of her songs during the show and told her that he was donating the money, on behalf of me, towards her breast cancer research fund. Upon receiving the money, she felt compelled to point me out in the audience to thank me. That is something I will never forget and just speaks to the kind of character she possesses to be so gracious!
