I remember a rash of guys "over-feeling" music, at the very beginning of the video craze. It was similar to the fun side of the 60s music scene. IMO, only guitar God Angus Young did it the coolest.
True, where the key changes were going, you could not guess first time you heard the song. Also the dramatic guitar twang was unique during the verses.

My heart is truly saddened by the passing of Olivia Newton-John. I grew up on her music. After I heard she passed, I've been listening to her music and videos. I remember when Grease came out in '78, I watched it 5 days in a row. I will never get tired of the Grease soundtrack along with her other music. It's more important even now. RIP Olivia. You will be truly missed
If there was ever a soul who was sent down from Heaven...it was Olivia. She was always a friendly person...even though she was strickenly beautiful...and her vocals were UNMATCHED... Celebrities today seem cold and soulless when comparing them to Olivia's vibe...
Yes, they're pushing a bit too hard, which makes the smoothness and ease of Olivia's voice even more impressive. It also makes me wonder whether this performance was recorded in the studio.
haven't heard this song in years, to hear it now as an adult and life, means more to me than ever ... miss Olivia Newton John we are so blessed to have had her beautiful spirit and music...
Me too, but I had step-sisters. Back then all the genres were basically Awesome. Oddly, I feel they all died with the death of the "Jam Box". Those days were wonderful.
I was 16 when this came out, and fell head over heels in love with Olivia, as many young men did at the time. RIP Princess, you'll always have a place in my heart.
The song is a question in the context of a difficult relationship. "A little more love" could "make it right", however, may not resolve a relationship with a guy weaving a "web of lies". Thank you John Farrar for writing this song. Thank you Olivia Newton-John ❤️ for passionately delivering it to the world via your voice with these stellar musicians. Rest in Peace Sweet Angel .🙏

If you search for the word "blessing" in the dictionary, you're very likely to find a photo of ONJ. No masks, no crude contents. She was simply herself. That's why everyone loved her. Such a pure, wholesome, gorgeous soul. She was simply a joy to have around. I just love the strong and healthy friendship she and Travolta had ever since their breakthrough success in Grease and how close the two of them were. John was even crying in commotion when he paid his tribute to her at the 2023 Oscars. She truly touched the heart of everyone she met. Now, her journey through life and her battle with cancer have both come to an end. May God bless her soul. We'll never forget her. I hope future generations will take example from her rather than bland Mary Sues. Heaven added an angel.
Her passing means her music will explode. Good luck trying to buy any of her records anytime soon. Theyll be sold out for years, and everything from albums and T Shirts of her will cost twice as much !!!! Incredible irreplacable talent

RIP. So beautiful and seriously talented in the arts. I remember all of her songs growing up and listening to them again reveals just how solid a writer, singer, and performer that she was. Such a class act.
The groove in this version is way better than the other live versions. Compared to other shows she did around this time, this is the much better show of the live band playing this song. Some of her band members were changing at this time... guitar and drums. And not all of her band would go to international shows either. This Much more upbeat and lively. Olivia was amazing. I can’t believe she’s gone!
This was the huge hit from the "Totally Hot" album. I bought a rare Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab copy of this album on vinyl as part of a graduation present for my vinyl collector son.
It's still hard to believe that she's no longer with us. You can't help watch these videos without a little sadness. She's been one of my all time favorite artists. LOVE you Ms Olivia Newton-John!

I remember a rash of guys "over-feeling" music, at the very beginning of the video craze. It was similar to the fun side of the 60s music scene. IMO, only guitar God Angus Young did it the coolest.
I think he has turets....
That bloke is John Farrar...producer of most of Olivia's music, and the writer of some of her biggest hits. He also co-produced Grease.
😂
Only now in my old age do I see the Sythn's wisdom in play.

I've been a Mod, Punk, inrlto metal absolutely everything over my time but I'll say this; Livvy had an absolutely beautiful voice.
I hope when I get to happen she is there singing, she truly had a voice from heaven. RIP beautiful gracious lady.
How you figure on getting there?
One of her best songs for sure. It’s not just one of those predictable pop songs either. Had a HUGE crush on her as a wee lad. 😍
True, where the key changes were going, you could not guess first time you heard the song. Also the dramatic guitar twang was unique during the verses.
It's John Farrar her producer and writer that writes these great chord changes and melodies

I used to Day-Dream of marrying this lady as a TEN year old!
Me too... even though she's 17 years my senior...
Favorite song from her. RIP Olivia Newton-John. You fought long and hard. You are at peace now with God. Much love to you and family. 🙏❤️
My first crush...1977, i was 10. Dad stationed in Athens and he'd play ONJ songs while we played bumper pool. Good times and miss ny Dad. RIP Dad and Olivia.
The most beautiful woman in the world, great talent and voice, forever in my heart, rest in peace 😍💔💘
RIP Olivia Newton-John! Legends never truly die, her voice will live on for eternity!
God, I love her voice! I've loved almost everything she's ever sang. Huge fan!

There are no words but rip Olivia Newton-john always love your songs ♥️♥️

Hello tania, how are you doing i hope you and your family are safe!
she put her soul into her songs to add that last perfect touch. I stare at amazement at her singing.
What a beautiful women she was. Broke a lot of young boys hearts in my generation. And what a beautiful voice she had. R.I.P Olivia. You will be surely missed.
And girls 😘🤩
RIP beauty and gorgeous Olivia!
Everything that Taylor Swift can never be.
What and odd thing to say and I do think Taylor Swift couldn't care less 🤣🤣
Nor should she want to.
Absolutely mate, well said!
U got that right 👍👍
Taylor Swiftie could nor ever will measure up to Olivia.
Makes Taylor Swift look like a novice
Who's Taylor swift?😅
Bruh hard out, shes got nothing on onj, and never will❤
Miss Swift is a manufactured hero!
Who?!
Yep!
Beauty, talent, and decency. A rare combination these days.
If there was ever a soul who was sent down from Heaven...it was Olivia. She was always a friendly person...even though she was strickenly beautiful...and her vocals were UNMATCHED...
Celebrities today seem cold and soulless when comparing them to Olivia's vibe...
She was a babe and had a great voice RIP Olivia you will never be forgotten
Such a talent, love her voice so much, great song
Yes, they're pushing a bit too hard, which makes the smoothness and ease of Olivia's voice even more impressive. It also makes me wonder whether this performance was recorded in the studio.
She passed away
Absolutely beautiful...She is and will always be missed by her fans.
haven't heard this song in years, to hear it now as an adult and life, means more to me than ever ... miss Olivia Newton John we are so blessed to have had her beautiful spirit and music...
I’m a rocker, but always loved this song. Excellent!!!
Yah dude, I play in a technical death metal band and love the classic OLJ, especially this song and Magic
This is the ultimate Pop romantic singer, when she sings "arms" she means it.-
Me too, but I had step-sisters. Back then all the genres were basically Awesome. Oddly, I feel they all died with the death of the "Jam Box". Those days were wonderful.
CLASS.
I think this song is "peak rock out" for OLJ, along with the ELO-penned "Xanadu". Great music knows no genres!
I was 16 when this came out, and fell head over heels in love with Olivia, as many young men did at the time. RIP Princess, you'll always have a place in my heart.
Ditto...
Of course yes, but I'm still waiting for my own ONJ... don't think she's coming and I'm pushing 60?
Didn't know she was a member of the royal family
The song is a question in the context of
a difficult relationship.
"A little more love" could "make it right",
however, may not resolve a relationship
with a guy weaving a "web of lies".
Thank you John Farrar for writing this song.
Thank you Olivia Newton-John ❤️
for passionately delivering it to the world via your voice with these stellar musicians.
Rest in Peace Sweet Angel .🙏
It was a joy to listen to her as she transitioned from Country to Rock. Such a sultry voice. I do miss her.
May God Bless you Olivia Newton-John.- Rest in Peace. You are a star, who by the way... is shining even brighter now!

One of my favorite songs by her
It’s one of my favourites too. This is the closest I can ever remember Olivia attempting to belt but the end result is just more sweetness.
Hello Jennifer, how are you doing i hope you and your family are safe!
Me too. My favorite song. ❤️😍
Those tight, bright harmonies. And without autotune. Amazing performance and production.
And, damn, she's fine.
All I can say is I love this song.
Me too nuff said
Ditto….
Her passing means her music will explode. Good luck trying to buy any of her records anytime soon. Theyll be sold out for years, and everything from albums and T Shirts of her will cost twice as much !!!!
Incredible irreplacable talent
@@MT-ek9te Fortunately I’ve already collected my library of Olivia Newton-John songs.
I doubt that there is a person alive on the earth that hated Olivia she is missed and loved by all
This song today is just as exciting and brilliant, as it was when this album came out.
She had the voice of an angel, so unique that it was so rare to find any artist even remotely close to it.

RIP. So beautiful and seriously talented in the arts. I remember all of her songs growing up and listening to them again reveals just how solid a writer, singer, and performer that she was. Such a class act.
Lovely woman. Wishing her good health

One of the most talented female singers of our time. Olivia you will be truly missed! Rest In Peace 🙏
Hi Mary hope you’re okay?
Hello Mary how are you doing
She was English
The groove in this version is way better than the other live versions. Compared to other shows she did around this time, this is the much better show of the live band playing this song. Some of her band members were changing at this time... guitar and drums. And not all of her band would go to international shows either. This Much more upbeat and lively. Olivia was amazing. I can’t believe she’s gone!
No auto-tune back then. Olivia was a gem.
What a time for music!!!! What a talent!!!! Miss you ONJ!!! Your Angel wings suit you just fine!!!!😘😘😘😘
Rip Olivia you had an amazing voice I could listen to you sing all day.Gone but never forgotten.

A beautiful lady and a magical voice lost forever...RIP Olivia Newton John
RIP Olivia. You were a musical genious.
This has to be one of Olivia’s BEST songs….it’s always been one of my favorites & she was in her prime when performing it!👍😊 Looking back, I’m simply in awe of the success & longevity of Olivia’s musical career, literally over the DECADES…she’s truly a superwoman!
Those high notes... that keyboardist 😆🙊..the basslines..the riffs/hooks...Rip ONJ.. You've light up the music scene...salute!👏👏
Yes, my favorite part of this song is when she and the backup girls hit the highnotes. Just amazing !
amen! and I give a harrumph for “the keyboardist” mention! his “relationship” with his keyboard seems a mirror reflection of the love/hate flow of this song😍😾
@@drivermxpedite3165the funny thing is that the backup girls are Olivia cause she sings her own background vocals to add that mystic charm to her music

Rest peacefully Olivia, thank you for all your amazing songs. 💖🎵
She absolutely hypnotized me with her beauty and singing back in 77 to 81. So Gorgeous!!! 😍 I was 17 in 1980 and stunned by her beauty. Love ya Olivia!
I concur 100%, as I was also born in 63'. She has always taken my breath away! She actually had me back in her, "Have You Ever Been Mellow" days. She is a force to be reckoned with...
I was 5 in 1980 and she I felt the same way as you did. There's something about that is mesmerizing. My first platonic love ☺
This look was ground-breaking and absolutely trendsetting. We love our Livvy (proud Aussie here)

She was really, really beautiful and talented and she seems nice as well. Too bad that she is a plastic wreck to day. They just can't help it, can they?
I grew up loving her music back in the seventies. She had one of the most beautiful voices ever and she was stunningly gorgeous. Beautiful blonde with the incredible voice. RIP THE LATE GREAT OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN. YOU WILL BE MISSED. YOU WERE ONE OF THE GREATS. 😢😭

Olivia Newton-John was simply the best person inside & out, with her presence & most of all her singing. She had a glow with her.
She is singing with the angles RIP O.N.J 🙏
She was undoubtedly one of the most beautiful women to have ever walked on this planet. That mantle has now been passed onto the equally gorgeous 'Delta Goodrem'...
The platinum standard of musical artists; grace and gratitude and sweetness outside; and a stone cold assassin with her singing voice. She didn't talk it, she DID IT. Her songs did her talking for her.
Rest in power, Dame Olivia.
