I like the way Nubia is trying their best to stabilize their under display selfie camera technology..👌👌
stabilize?
It seems like this tech will soon be 'adopted' by Samsung and Google too. The upside with these Chinese brands is that they aren't afraid to risk innovation.
Qq@@Hashveen
google AI Generative AI is experimental.
Yes, the Nubia Z60 Ultra has several AI features:
Front camera
The Z60 Ultra has a front-facing camera that's hidden under the display. It uses the Front Camera Spiritual Transparency Algorithm 5.0 and an AI Deep Sense Engine to enhance front camera imaging. The camera has a 12MP sensor with 2.24 μm pixels.
AI frame sensing
The Z60 Ultra has AI frame sensing technology that adjusts frequency and core based on gaming scenes and actions. This can improve energy efficiency and reduce minor lags.
True perception technology
The Z60 Ultra's true perception technology can frame by frame monitor rendering and drawing conditions, identify game scenes and actions, and improve energy efficiency.
I love that they put an unddr display selfie came. A lousy selfie cam, means they can deck out the rear cameras with better lenses and I'm all for it. I never use my front facing camera ever. Never ever. And i don't think anybody else should. Unless you're an obnoxious influencshiter. I hope they keep this concept in their next phone as well. Sacrifice the selfie cam for a better set of camera array in the back. The worst thing that could happen is that they listen to all these idiots and give a good pinhole selfie cam at the expense or even sacrificing their rear cameras. For those who want excellent bullcrap tickbox 4k60 front cam, go and get an apple or samsung and don't disturb the rest of us who want innovation.
Personally I don't really mind the under display selfie cam since I rarely take any selfie.
haha fair enough
Me too and the main camera performance is impressive in my opinion
Facts
That's right and every manufacturer puts them right in the middle of the display, I don't want it and yet there is so little options on the market for this niche. I am still using my Poco F2 Pro with motorised camera for that exact reason, I want the full, undisturbed display and don't care for the selfie camera.
@@szypaj1 man, motorized cams were so cool
At least Nubia is trying different from everyone in Selfie cam dept
Thanks for the likes , A sub to the Channel will be nice.
agreed. ill take the non intrusive display for terrible selfie. flip it around and get a good one.
Totally agree
👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
The upcoming z60spro will have hole punch so , the ultra product line (z50&60 ultra, axon 40 ultra)has always been a flex for zte on their UDC Technology.
Different at the cost of worse performance is just stupid
*The main reason I would prefer to buy this is the uninterrupted display...* I don't take selfies and do not want selfie camera at all... Instead give me that awesome screen. I am willing to pay extra for removing all holes from display.
Lol
If I had a face like you , I also wouldn’t take selfies. 😂
@@LTS25623 at least he is confident in how he looks, you hide your face.
same
You won't take selfie because your face is not worth it 💀 but others do take
2:14 that charger though, looks so damn cool!
Amazing review. Great coverage of all the features. Really appreciated the comparison of 35mm focal length to a 'standard' smartphone camera! Smooth editing and transitions in the video too!
Well researched and spread out, great job!
I just love the idea of 35mm lens main sensor and uninterrupted display. I think Nubia has done a 👍
I love watching your phone reviews of phone's I can't afford, happy new year to you Sir..One of your oldest subscribers
well done. Great video and editing!
Thanks for this, no other youtuber brought this phone you did thanks mate!
Super quality channel. Subscribed and keep up the great work!
Super different, I love it❤ finally something a lil different!!!!!!! Wow all those accessories definitely worth 700!!!! Amazing unboxing, this is what the new phone experience use to be like 😍😍😍 just use a filter for the selfie an your good
That's beautiful and one among the best unboxing experiences...
I honestly don't care much about selfie camera. I'm all in for a big beautiful uninterrupted display even if it meant sacrificing the front camera quality. Kudos to Redmagic and Nubia for working on bettering the under display camera. The software support is what I would be worried about in case of Nubia and Redmagic. I just wish it had great custom ROM support at least to keep it alive even if the manufacturer stops giving updates.
I'm sure it does just gotta look people love making these phones better
@6:45 that video quality is amazing especially for the $600 pricetag!🔥💯
Welcome Back bro it's been ages I haven't seen u almost 5 years may be, good to see u go on.....
Haven't been that excited about a phone in a long time. Absolutely love the behind-screen selfie cam, massive battery, and the blistering fast SoC. Really impressed by the bold yet sleek design of the cameras too, although I would choose the stark black version over the Starry Night. I just wish my daily driver was older/slower so that I had a valid reason to upgrade. My Mi 9T Pro from 4 years ago still feels just as fast as when I bought it. Anyhow this bodes well for the future. I was worried we'd be stuck with punch-through or notched front displays forever.
Thanks for this much-anticipated review. Love this phone, Love the Brand. The main reason for getting this phone is that I hate hole punch.
Thanks for the review currently waiting for the global variant
Loved your content ❤
Seeing this for the third time. The starry night edition is ❤
Nice review. You picked up a new subscriber. 👍
Love the underscreen selfie. I've seen a close up look from JerryRig and it looks interesting. Hope to see improvements to the technology.
I like the design of the camera and the starry night colour
The camera quality is pretty darn good!👏🏻
Thank you for explaining how the cameras work on this phone.
This is my dream phone, I’m one of those people who don’t care about the front cam and miss the old days when brands tried to go notchless. And the back camera array is just a dream come true, best part no curved screen.
Yeah bruh full screen phones were something else, once you start using a full screen device there's no going back, idk why they stopped making those pop up camera phones, those were sooo good,i kinda miss my k20 pro
@@ERENYEAGER-sw9ki because that pop up waa mechanical.. After one time stops functioning
Thank you for the video, you went really in depth! Would you be able to record a TH-cam short comparing the under display front camera of this Z60 Ultra and Red Magic 9 Pro? I may be crazy, but it seems to me as if this one is slightly better than Red Magic. And that would be all I would need, since that one was literally terrible.
Finally, someone showed some speaker test. It's not great but it's good enough. Great review overall!
Love this phone so much with good looks & i really liked all this features so much...
This looks so dope!!!
Damn bro, the other day I was reminiscing about you how to root android phones and install roms. Good to see you're still on the grind. Hard to believe it has been 10 years. Keep up the good work and thanks for those legendary videos back in the day ❤
@C4ETech
Ash I loved your videos ❤
May you please make a camera comparison video of Nubia Z60 Ultra vs Oppo Find X7 Ultra vs Oppo X100 Pro vs IPhone 15 Pro Max and also show the battery timing of these flagship phones if possible 🙏🏻
Dope thumbnail 🔥👏🏻
Nice review bro as Always ❤❤
Man your way of making video is very unique and feels really Premium Experience Overall
I really like little details and also very soothing not like other videos where they are shouting and all
Appreciated❤
Honestly, the under display selfie cam is the primary reason I am looking at this phone :)
I was holding off upgrading from my OP7 Pro until next year, as I think that we are going to see a few options next year, but I could totally see using this for a year or more while waiting on something more high end flagship without a pinhole or notch.
Honestly the only thing making me even take pause about it is the display's brightness and resolution. Wish I could see it in person to decide if the PPI is fine for me, but I'm coming from 516 ppi so I worry a bit.
Love the idea of giving super different lens
Thank you for the review! I'll buy this phone because of the cameras. 18, 35, 85 mm all with decent sensors and lenses is like a dream come true! I hope f1.6 on a 2/3" sensor is not too shallow dof
Gorgeous mate
Thanks to you for new Produtcs
I love the look. I love the more flushed camera bump
I think you & I, both, loved the Z50 series, as I saw you state on MKBHD's video. I have the RedMagic 9 Pro, with my Z60 Ultra on the way at the end of the month & I'm really looking forward to it.
yes sir, I really want a regular z60... at the price they offer it... man its just unbeatable..
@@C4ETech for a hole punch selfie camera, I had a feeling you'd say that. The price is unbeatable either way!
haha... naah not just for that... I loved the z50 a lot... its a lot more ergonomic... and it was selling for like $350 within a month of launch... so a $400 z60 with that ergonomics... and a 35mm primary (...and of course a hole punch selfie haha) seems alluring to me :)
Love the design language ❤
That box looks amazing.
Love those holographic stickers 👌🏻
Thank you so much for a great comprehensive review. This phone is amazing in every way (selfies are not important to me).
I never take selfies, so the everyday enjoyably of an uninterrupted screen is preferable to me. Selfie cam only needs to be good enough for a very occasionally zoom meeting and this seems good enough for that. If they can improve it even a little for next time it won't even be an issue. I agree 100% that these camera centric phones should have a dedicated shutter button! Overall the large battery, waterproofing, good display, speakers and decent price, this seems like a great package. I think I'm going to give one a try.
Thankyou for reviewing this phone.....i want to buy this phone
This phone is gorgeous as someone who loves camera module designs this is ones of the best designs i have ever seen
A very good mature review on an optimistic phone for everyone 🎉
In old days i have used nubia z9 mini model and is great camera.
Nubia is a very underrated smartphone in the whole smartphones industry well done Nubia go ahead
Definitely
no no it is not... you'd be suprised to know they hardly ever do updates for their phones... an the global/US version lack half of whats in the chinese versions ... its a huge mess with them
the video quality of the camers are pretty good 😳
Man I'm praying that this phone would drop in price by this August and would still be available
Can you output USBC display port alt mode? Is there a desktop mode? Not one review yet has tried it, for some reason.
I can't remember when the last time I watch c4etech video, they have improve a lot
Is the more generous in-box stuff exclusive to the SN version? For the rec, the UWA sensor here is larger than the primary sensor of the new Galaxy S24.
Thank you for the videos but please can you do the battery drain test from 100% to 0%
The only reason i don't buy red magic 9 pro is the display doesn't support LTPO , so o want to know does it matter in battery draining that much.
Looks cool. I prefer the underdisplay camera as I rarely take selfies. I'm still using the Samsung S22 Ultra and use only the rear cameras.
I agree.
Me too
Same here, s 22 ultra and have not taken more than 20 selfies in almost 2 years
How do you get the watermark information in the white band under the images?
4:24 You sir, are crazy good at what you do, not crazy.
Yes, even I thought it was Leica at first.
I love these creative ways of innovations. Its very good. Vivo and Asus has one uped their game this year.
Will game space be on the international version, and also will the global version have the under the display camera, I saw an article saying the global version will have a hole punch.
Ash on fire 🔥 back to back vids.. waiting for your OnePlus and realme coverage 🎉
no realme mate... oneplus yes
@@C4ETech Ash why not realme?

- LOVE the thumbnail
- Adore that design of the phone, lowkey that in itself makes me want to get it
- I want more phones to have the 35mm focal length, I might be one of the few who prefer a tighter fov, but that's something I really, really dig
- 4K 120P, a heckin' lot more useful than 8K 25/30P; I'll stand my ground
- The price on it also seems very fair.
- thank you
- yup agreed
- AMEN! I love shooting 35mm
- agreed 8k is a gimmick as of now... 4k 120 is much more useful
- yup, wish they'd launch in more markets..
@@C4ETechwas just wandering, where does it stand in camera department when compared to the latest s24/s24+?
I was thinking of getting this as an alternative to the RM 9 pro any advice?
i agree with the hole punch selfie camera argument. since optics is one of the primary focuses of the phone, it should have compromised slightly on the end to end uninterrupted display and offered a significantly superior front camera experience.
What about security patches and os updates?
Privacy screen protector is a no go due to the under display selfie cam?
1:21 looks so beautiful 😍
Needed 3.5mm jack, what an oversight
Beautiful ❤
What is the second game you tested?
Looks really good, wish it was available in India
Never. Never again
😢@@mannyblackstar
How good is it for macro shots of moving object?
Between this and the red magic 9 pro?
mindblowing back camera i really amazed 🤔🤔😘😘😘.but if selfie camera is good then it is full complete package.
Does it support video out via usbc for gaming?
Love your conte ate. My z60 videos doe really well... People are loving the phone
Does it have the slow mo/ultra slow motion features?
Thanks for that video! So far as I saw, there will be a problem to put that phone on a gimbal. There are 3 buttons, no space for a clamb.
What's the software support info on this phone?
it looks ultra stylish........awesome will be an understatement.....looks the part .......👍
Yes. Totally agree with your view on the selfie camera. Would have been better with a hole punch camera
how good is Nubia with updates and security patches?
Hai bro 💝💝💝
.. advance happy Pongal bro 😅😊😅😊😅
Great Phone sir _very different from all mobiles
how many years of software support does it have?
Piece of art
Hello I just got my z60 ultra. I'm very happy with it. But it rattles when it's shaken slightly. Is that okay?
Is the section of the screen that houses the selfie cam indistinguishable from the rest? Past efforts I've seen (years ago) are basically a small worse quality screen over it. If they found a way to just take photos through the main screen, that's a great compromise.
Pretty much unidentifiable
How and front can I get the limited edition pls suggest
The fact that this phone has 4k120fps across all lenses like Sony phones leaves Apple, Samsung, Google and all other high end brands no excuse. This is a small but rich feature that should be on every flagship going forward.
Where this can be bought, collector edition?
Hi Ash! Do you think the Nubia z60 Ultra are worth its price the same way the Nubia z50 is? Thanks
8:50 can someone tell me the name of that movie?
would love to see a comparison against vvivo x100 and oppo find 7x ultra. Thanks for the video on this. Not to many have covered this phone. Considering the price to specs sounds like a grreat buy
9.51 name of the game your playing ach man .?
I like this phone especially the design and the battery im in love but not available in Philippines
