So glad to see people discovering, appreciating and using vintage & antique furnishings & decor. The quality, appearance, value and satisfaction of owning "real" pieces is something that cannot be had from mass produced "throwaway" things, made to be disposable.
My Dad made stained glass pieces for years and he is now teaching me how to do it. I live in Northern New York where the majority of old homes are from the Victorian era. And many of them have lost their stained glass over the years. There has been a demand on replacement stained glass in recent years, and I would like to be able to make and sell pieces in the future.
I have watched this before and this couple are lovely. What a wonderful family property. Love the outcome of the 2 spaces and all the learned crafts. Kirstie is great.
Thank you for this show, it gave me so many ideas! We‘re moving into the house of my grandmother build originally 1848 by the end of July 2021. I can‘t tell you how much my grown up boys and I are looking forward to make it pretty and functional after having rented our whole lives 💖.
I've been mesmerised by this programme, Gemma and Shaun have created a fantastic study and entrance, with Kirsty's help, very inspiring. Absolutely amazing.
you all probably dont give a shit but does any of you know of a way to log back into an Instagram account? I was stupid forgot my password. I would appreciate any help you can give me.
@Kamryn Damian I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm in the hacking process now. I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
Wow really loved your style of work and effort and learned a lot. Thank you very much Good People for your lovely video. Enjoy With Love from SAM Guwahati Assam INDIA
This home is lovely! It has period features but modern style. So warm and inviting! It is refreshing to see character in a home. I'm tired of bland gray one room living spaces....too modern with no warmth and character.

LOVE Kirstie!!! So glad to find yet another show with her as our guide.

This refurbishment/interior design and decor has aged SUPER well. 2021 and it’s still absolutely desirable. Well done to the home owners.
What a fabulous couple! And 3 beautiful boys too. They deserve this beautiful home. Great show Kristie! Can't wait to watch more.
I'm so proud of that couple how they worked together. Their whole home will be beautiful.

Loved, loved, loved this eager couple - with Kirsties help they did well and will continue to do so I am certain
Binge watched all of series 1 yesterday. Falling into same trap today - no gardening or housework will get done again ! OK a quick dash with a duster!
Great show!!! Finally, people are seeing the beauty & value of using, repairing, & repurposing/upcycling items from the past!!
Bbb
Wonderful results for intrepid, lovely, hard-working couple. Their sons are learning so much. TFS

Gorgeous stained glass. Convinces me to do a panel for my bath picture window overlooking my back garden.

I'd never know from the finished hall and study that the house had fallen into disrepair. They did a stunning job.
Their home looks fabulous!!! Truly beautiful. I’m inspired!

So great to help them on their way and boost their confidence.
By the way, does the stain glass in the door need to be double glazed?
LOVE ALL YOUR SHOWS
Gorgeous!!!! I have two 1920's windows to go in double doors. It looks like a lily or something. Absolutely beautiful if you're interested Kirsty.

At last, I have wanted to see this.
Ohooo, I just might to want making glass windows! ....watching you working with glass like breaking chocolate
great show!
Tony is great he's on Dixison s deal or no deal he is so good looking and very knowledgeable
On Salvage Hunters with Drew Pritchard, as well.
Love it
I like Tony searching for things
How are you doing 😊😊😊
Decorations. What about fixing up the walls, ceilings and floors? What about the windows, the sills, the doors?
Lovely house! X
The best thing l ever did was learning to sew. 😊
At 1:20 this horse was showing signs of possible lameness!
That said, I do indeed love this series.
Masha Allah dear
(6:33) Where's Sarah Beeny?
Great show! Wondering why hubby can't sew curtains?
He's not interested?
Who turned the chairs black? That goregeous red/maroon/oxblood Chesterfield chair????
Love the black!
How did they change the color of the leather
You can get dyes for leather.
Monks would not have been dining in their cells. They would more likely have been writing or studying.
How did all the red leather furniture in the study change to black leather furniture?
Good question alan!
Probably with leather dye
The editing is awful alan! 👎

How did this young couple get such an expensive Victorian house like this? That is what l would like to know
they probably got it cheaper since it needs so much renovation
Not sure "smashing" is the most propitious word to use to describe the stained glass window...
💕🔥🙏💕💐
did they send out the ugly leather chairs to be painted or reupholstered?
I'd say that they had them painted...reupholstering leather is expensive
You can PAINT leather furniture? Sounds awful!
Can you dye leather chairs?
Boring!
Are you...? Very probably..!!,
Loved the stain glass door and windows. What a transformation.❤
