    It's super fun to see what people imagined they must have, what they settled for, and what they moved on to. Also seeing the change in their appearance after 10 years makes me take the aging process a little less personally.

    This particular episode was really nice. The two couples were really lovely and fun to watch and go through the processes with them. Very astute couples. Really enjoyed it. I know this episode is pretty outdated but I just saw it here, in Canada, in 2023 :)

And Kirsty and Phil - you are patience, knowledge, and the occasional "push" - Thank you for sharing your lives and others - makes this planet seem livable - P.S. Glad they all ended up with what they wanted, but I don't like when people bargain and get their way and then change their minds. It's rude and very hard on the other party. Should have put some kind of non refundable deposit down, in case they back out of the agreed deal.

    I like how both couples were practical and knew that the houses they chose were to get them on the housing ladder, and that they were not their "forever homes." They were not afraid to make a move if the next right house came along. Thanks for the upload. More, please!

    250k in 04 was a decent amount. Im a similar age, i bought a semi in Lancaster at similar time for 80k. Granted its up NORTH, but in a good area. That still shows that they had more than a decent budget. If you factor in inflation thats around 450k in 2023.

    Both couples ended up buying something unlike what they said they wanted.
    The twosome with three children were particularly exasperating, turning down a house because one bedroom was too small. They grew up fast however once the children started coming. I wonder what they think of themselves at age 28 when they think back on that time.
    They other couple capitalised on the increased value of their first purchase to buy something closer to what they wanted from the beginning. Only one thing puzzles me: it's a rural property in the middle of a row? To me, a rural property is detached; when I think rural, I think farmstead. Farm houses don't have other farm houses attached on either side.

    • @pennycarter3433
      @pennycarter3433 ปีที่แล้ว
