Tina chan!! Now that Japan has opened their boarders to foreign visitors, can you please do a “Top 10 beauty products to purchase in Japan” video 🙏 I can only find pre-pandemic era videos and I know that the Japanese skincare game has changed a lot since then.
Tina: "I know some of you may be visiting Japan soon..." Me: *packed for Japan trip this month and prepping the big suitcase to buy all the skincare goodies* How did you know?! 😳😆 Love your videos Tina! 💛❤
I have only tried the pcalm foam cleanser and the manyo factory cleansing oil from this list. I love how the pcalm one is gentle but also quite effective in cleaning my skin. My skin was sensitized and some other gentle cleansers I tried were either so mild it didn't feel like I was getting a good cleanse or it made my skin sting. I think for those who like cleansing oils, manyo is very unique in texture and very effective, but I prefer balms (the heimish one is hands down my fave). I have heard raving reviews about the muji one but it's also a bit pricey... Thank you Tina for your recommendations!
I love the "favourites per category" video idea. I love your rewievs but don't have a 2 hour attention span :D Definitely excited to see all the categories! ❤ Also THANK YOU for mentioning which products contain fragrance and which don't.
A milk cleanser that's not Asian but cleans makeup and is moisturising is the Cerave cream to foam cleanser. It's the one I use when I'm not using a oil cleanser. Love it!
I’m not sure if you have a lip care routine but if you do, could you talk about it? I don’t know if lots of your audience would be interested in it but I would be because not many people talk about it😢Thank you😊
I love that you’re doing different videos for each category!!! Cant wait to see the rest of your recommendations!! I want to try the ti’am cleanser next after I finish my current one :)
you literally read my mind!! my skin has started becoming irritated by my usual cleanser so i've been looking for some recommendations! i actually ordered the new parnell cicamanu cleanser today bc you had recommended the brand so i'm excited to try that!
What serum so you use to get your skin so dewy and smooth? I watched your serums video but I wanted to know if you are using a specific one now. Your skin looks great and I am trying to get mine to look like this.
The p calm cleanser has such cute yet simple packaging. I love the color purple and the cleanser sounds like a good hydrating cleanser for me. Thank you for sharing it. I’ve been watching your videos and decided to subscribe. Great vide. Looking forward to future categories of your faves.
I don’t really comment on videos! But your videos have helped to soothe and clear my skin drastically. All your product recommendations have worked for me ❤
So gorgeous. Looooook at that skin and those eyes! 🤩 Your videos have influenced my shopping decisions so heavily and I'm so grateful. Love your channel.
I watched your Japanese inner beauty habits food video , it was so therapeutic and interesting since I love Japanese food , it would be lovely if you made another one 💞💞 maybe around different Japanese teas for glowy skin !!
I really appreciate this video 💞 I feel like people always recommend other skincare products like toners or moisturizers but never enough of cleansers especially for dry skin types ! Are foam and milky cleansers the best for dry skin :)
I like the Klairs oil, but I sadly cannot use cleansing oils, because my eyes are so sensitive and water like hell after using them. Instead I really love the Beauty of Joseon cleansing balm.
yesyesss i love your end of the year videos!! thanks for sharing your love for the numbuzin cleanser - bought it in korea last month thanks to you and i love it 🫶
I just bought K-beauty toner: Heimish Matcha Biome Redness relief hydrating toner Been using it for few days and already the redness on my cheeks are settling down nicely. Label says it’s for oily sensitive skin -I don’t have oily skin BUT it’s still very hydrating.
Hi Tina love your videos. I wanted to ask. I wear most of the time only sunscreen and wear make up rarely. Do I need to double cleanse? I have been double cleansing till now. However, the reason why I am asking is bcs I have looked into some articles saying you should double cleanse when you wear makeup or a waterproof sunscreen. It also stated that recent study showed a regular cleanser is able to remove a non waterproof suncreen just as effectively as a cleansing oil. Also, I have a combo skin and Idk why but no matter what hydrating product I use, my cheeks are often dry looking. My makeup always ends up looking dry too even though I buy a hydrating foundation. Could be the double cleansing too stripping for my skin? Additionally, I have been dealing with damaged skin barrier and non stop breakouts after trying bha liquid exfoliant a year ago till this day. I cannot figure out what is wrong in my routine. I had tried so many different products which are for my skin type but I am not moving. My skin doesn't react badly to the products but it's not healing. Even though I tried products with ingredients like centella asiatica, panthenol, hyaluronic acid etc. Anyone has an idea?
Hi. We share similar issues that you mentioned. I'm not sure of your local climate (I'm in a tropical country) but last year I started noticing my regular cream cleanser dries out my cheeks. I've now switched to milk cleanser when i don't wear any sunscreen or makeup and a gel cleanser when I need a to remove sunscreen, makeup or just feeling oily. Perhaps you can double cleanse only if you have waterproof/thick sunscreen or makeup on. I've also stopped using leave on BHA products as they sting and switched to BHA cleanser that i use once or twice a week. I'd also suggest adding on ceramide moisturizer or serum for barrier repair.
Many Japanese youtubers are raving about that Manyo oil cleanser, it's too pricy for me but I like Manyo for their serums. Sana Nameraka was the first ever Japanese brand I used over 10 years ago, it was the brand along with Rosette of my teenage years especially for the cleansers
I'm so bummed out that the Muji milk cleanser didn't work well for me, it stung my eyes a lot :( But thank goodness the Cow Brand one works like a charm!
Can I just use the muji milk cleanser as a regular cleanser, as in, i dont double cleanse with it? Because it sounds like it could be a nice morning cleanse

Been using it for few days and already the redness on my cheeks are settling down nicely. Label says it’s for oily sensitive skin -I don’t have oily skin BUT it’s still very hydrating.
