This children's home is overseen by one of our key Burmese pastors and his family who we have supported for several years. The children we care for are not only receiving nutritious food, proper clothing, shelter and an education but they are being mentored into a new kind of life- one in which they have influence, a new identity, and love. This home provides the opportunity for these children to have what they need to pursue their dreams of being doctors, engineers, teachers, lawyers, and military generals for the kingdom of God in Burma.
Living in this home will protect these orphans from the very real dangers facing them everyday.
Education is not available for free to children in Burma, and therefore it is often out of the question for children that rarely make enough money to eat. Without education, these children will not have the tools they need to escape the cycle of poverty that often led to their abandonment.
Orphaned children in Burma are among those who are at high risk of becoming the next human trafficking victims. In this 32 billion dollar a year industry, enslaving more than 27 million people, traffickers often seek to take advantage of those in desperation, offering them promises of protection, education and a better life.
With your help, we are able to continue to protect these children from these deceptive ploys, giving them an opportunity to receive a Christ-centered education in a safe home.

I don’t understand why so many people find it so difficult to adopt when they know orphanages exist, and why they pay hundreds of thousands for IVF is even more selfish knowing orphanages exist and these kids desperately need good loving homes

Honestly, it's very personal for any couple or whoever and there are people who wouldn't be fit to adopt. The process itself can be so long. It would be very difficult.
The shower part made me cringe

I agree. He commented more than once about limiting the institutional feel, but the showers look like prison showers with no privacy. Disgusting. Poor kids.
@@erikas5573 These kids have never seen a prison and won't make that association. Hopefully they will be glad for a place to get clean when they haven't had running water before.

+Daniel 12 computers exist. There are quite a few modern orphanages with Internet access, though generally only for educational purposes. libraries also tend to have computers for public access

May I ask why there are NO wall decor. Anywhere you show is so unfriendly. Even Doctors and Dentist have cheap wall decor. It has been proven that pastel colors and calm photos or paintings helps with stress and depression. Not even small personal Thing's were absent. The children loose so much just coming into this world basically alone. Why burden them farther. 😢

Does it matter? Look at all they did for the orphans. They looked pleased with the result. It's not a bad thing that there is a baptismal bath. At the end of the day they were helped out a lot and are smiling.
