Infiniti QX30 review: 10 things you need to know

Infiniti...not just those cars you see when you're on holiday in Florida. See, Infiniti started selling cars in the UK back in 2009, but so far it's still something of an unknown candidate.

Great, comedic video. Definitely made me chuckle. I just bought a 2017 QX30 Sport a few weeks ago (in Texas). My whole family is tall (me 5'10, husband 5'11, oldest son 6'3", and youngest son 5'10). The seating in front is plenty of room. The back can be snug if your leggy. The ride is comfortable and our sport model seems zippy. Our cars in US aren't as expensive as in the UK. All in I paid $27K (plus our 6.25% tax and $150 in registration fees). Since we got it 2nd hand, it was a model that someone splurged for on all the options. Quite happy with it. The sales guy told us that Mercedes and Infiniti did collaborate in the QX30 development. I also test drove the Mercedes GLA 250, but we all liked the look of the Infiniti better. How tall is he? I'm 5ft 11 and the QX30 is not that small inside or out. He towers it. He looks like he would struggle in the back of any car with the seat in his driving position. No offence.

Tyson Vanpelt its tiny I'm only 6ft 1.5 inches and it is like a foot and a half shorter I bought a fiesta active and parked it next to one of the QX30s and it was the same size

Really amusing & pretty much to the point. Shame that Infiniti is seems to be so screwed up in the way it does things. As a retired design engineer I do feel sorry for the poor guys that are given the job of engineering these cars. Probably constrained by lack of money for tooling, not enough time & some strange commitee of stylists that think they know what looks good but dont really !
