That square on the outside of the handle is not to lock the car. You lock it by touching anywhere on the outside of the handle. That square is where you place the end of the key fob, while holding the lock or unlock buttons, to close or open all windows at once. Which is another feature entirely lifted from Mercedes.
Very nice! Infiniti lent me a fully loaded 2018 QX30 Essential AWD as a courtesy vehicle for a few days while my Q50 was having a couple of recalls addressed, and warranty work done. I really enjoyed this little crossover! If I bought one used, first thing I'd want to do is JB4 Tune it to gain +40 HP & +40 LB-FT without voiding the warranty, or extended warranty now, because it's not an ECU tune. Plus a K&N air filter to add about 5+ extra HP & TQ. Believe it or not, in my Q50 3.7 everybody who went for a ride in my car after the dual drop in K&N air filters all heard and felt a noticeable improvement in intake sound and acceleration. Especially above 4k rpm. That's just in my naturally aspirated Q50. I'm sure it would be even more noticeable in a forced induction 2.0L Turbo like the QX30. Anyway, before this gets too long... Great review! I enjoyed the video as always! 👍
I agree with you Nissan/ infiniti definitely drop the ball on this one you have to add to many packages for it to be a good vehicle which is not worth it

I am glad I am not the only one who is perplexed by the lack of a lift gate or even a trunk button on my car! Not even on my key fob! Very lacking for a supposed Luxury model????
Right. That's why it was so weird that they didn't include the button originally last year, because even for the people that didn't like it, they could just take it off.
@@paulstein9258 because if the auxiliary battery goes out you actually need to know how to do that to use the key fob because your car will cut off at lights and not start back up I experienced it

it's based on the CLA platform but the wấy it look so better and superb than the CLA

You can pick up a low mileage Q30 1.5 diesel executive in the Uk for less than £14k......great design,looks and performance....love the car!
