This four-hand arrangement was written in a couple of hours on June 28, one day before we gave it a try and recorded it at my studio.
The suggestion to make a piano version of this lovely Minuet arrived from one of my subscribers - I can't find it anymore in the comments, so thank you for the idea! Please comment here if you recognize yourself and remember our conversation.

Wow, I didn't expect it to be arranged so soon -- it's certainly a privilege that you took the suggestion! Wonderful relaxing arrangement, even if you wrote it in a couple hours; impressive
The amount of surprises in this arrangement AND performance were a bit overwhelming, I have to say. And in the best way possible. I’m listening to it now for the 14th time and I’m still hearing new things lol.
Thank you for bringing this arrangement to us! My wife and I had such a great fun playing this duet.

Like a lot of pianists, I grew up on this piece, probably John Thompson's book arrangement. It is etched in our memories, untouched and untouchable. My first thought was, oh no, they're going to embellish it to death; but after a few phrases I realized that you love this piece as much as I do! The embellishments are loving, adoring and totally respectful of Boccherini's original, piano or string versions. I have now listened to this arrangement eight times and wept every time. Your arrangement is total beauty! Thank you so much!

@@emfox6280 LOL, I can't help it! I am a crier. It's one of the reasons I had to stop performing. I couldn't get through a vocal solo if I hadn't reached the point of distancing myself from the music a bit. Now, as a listener, I can enjoy, cry, and cry some more in the comfort of my own home!

Вячеслав один из тех настоящих художников, музыка которого дышит новизной художественных открытий. Слушая ваши аранжировки - потом ловлю себя на мысли.... Есть Боккерини и есть Грязнов-Боккерини, есть Рахманинов, а есть Грязнов - Рахманинов. и т д и каждый раз это что-то совершенно удивительное.

With this magnificent creation you make me a Boccherini addict. I listened to many variations of this very same piece in different instruments but for my surprise this arrengement is so unique I guess preserves Howarts legaly in the best way .Gorgeous I already go in my 5th bis.I love the way you make music.

Vyacheslav, of course, you are a genius on the piano. But I am intrigued by the fact that you created/composed the arrangement in a couple hours. What tools do you use to help make that happen?
Thank you for the comment ❤️ just my brain and Dorico, when I'm engraving all my scores, no piano :) some little twists in the arrangement actually happened during the first tryouts, when we played a couple of wrong notes and I liked those accidents more than what I wrote originally.
@@VyacheslavGryaznovPiano Indeed, God has blessed you exceedingly. I ponder the magnificent mystery of the design of our brains. Consider that there are tens of thousands of notes in a typical 40 minute piano concerto (30K in Rach 3). Coupled with the notes are the tempo, force, and style applied to those notes. And a pianist may need to have a repertoire of several piano concertos that he or she keeps in practice. How amazing is the human brain to memorize all that! You have this natural ability to play (after much study, of course) and that is coupled with the creativity to compose your own complex arrangements. Sorry for all the effusive compliments. But it is a blessing to encounter your work that you share on TH-cam in the midst of all the craziness going on in the world today.

Hi Maestro, just wanted to ask if you've ever thought about/attempted an arrangment of the gorgeous slow movement of the 2nd Rachmaninov Symphony? Im sure it would be tricky because of how lush the original is vs. the piano's percusiveness but i would beyond thrilled. am only a student pianist but i would be willing to pay comission fee u know, and i would certainly play it myself too. Rattle's most recent recording with the LSO is my favourite btw very reccomend

Why change in harmony? these transcriptions or arrangements for such classical compositions should not go against the original harmonic and polyphonic details which are main components of the whole composition same as the melody, this might be accepted in other kind of pieces but not in such quality classical works.
