I have this 2002 Isuzu rodeo that’s popping up a p1870 code…. I been looking around & all the other videos are kinda old but what do you say my p1870 code problem is…. Tcc value or torque converter?
My Rodeo sport 2d gave me this code after repair the whole transmission. I took it back to mechanic and he told that everything was replaced and new torque converter but not the solenoid and he told me that the tcc solenoid is bad. Have you seen this before?
Your update the valve and see if tcc slippage is with in specs, if not change convertor. When you remove pan to update valve, if pan is loaded with metal, remove trans.
great, after a while on the road at 100-110km it kicks from first to second, it disappears by turning off the truck for a minute but if I run at that pace again it comes back, when I got home I scanned and p1870 appeared In the city it doesn't do it alone after driving on the road for a while. thanks
Would P1870 cause my truck not to move? 2001 Silverado 1500 V8 when I first start the truck it shifts and drives normal but by time I get to the end of my short street the RPMs start flaring up and truck doesn’t wanna move. Turn the truck off and back on and it will work normal for a short period and then same issue again, undrivable. 100k miles ago replaced the 4L60e with an updated reman unit. Have never changed the fluid ever. Fluid level is full not burnt but dark. Great video and appreciate any reply!
