Karl, you have outdone yourself. This is one of the most beautiful TH-cam vids I've ver seen! Kudos!

Wow, thank you! I know I've said it many time but Arches really amazes me. So many more treasures than just the tourist attractions!

Speaking for myself, it is highly unlikely I will ever go here, but I am very grateful to be able to see it. I also visit lots of very remote desert and mountain areas, and frankly I don't enjoy it any less when I run into people. Total solitude is great, but so is sharing with others. So it wouldn't bother me if you made videos of any areas I hike in, whether on or off the beaten track.
Some areas have been ruined by massive crowds, but that's because they are much more easily accessible than what you are documenting. And I think the main factor leading to that is Instagram, not Vloggers.
This was a particularly awesome video btw, and I watch every one you put out (usually twice!)

Thank you so much for perspective. I personally have very similar feelings. Whenever I go to less accessible places I enjoy the people I find there. I also feel sharing these places with people who would not otherwise ever see them is a special gift. I am leaning toward continuing to share locations. To be fair, that’s how I’ve found most of them myself though I have trail blazed a few, not that I was ever the first one there. Cheers

Don’t worry, a platoon of marching men are guarding those arches! Yeah, that is always a moral dilemma in our time of ease of information to these pristine areas. Personally, I’m glad to see your documentation on these destinations because I don’t reside nearby, and I can live vicariously through the scenic presentations you produce. But, people being people don’t always practice good hiking ethics, and it takes only a few to spoil it for the rest of us. I’m sure you’ll make the right choices….

Thanks Buddy, I'll just pick some really rough ones so they won't want to go, LOL! I have some really cool places coming up next, Capitol Reef was beautiful but after that is the North Wash and some of that landscape is really wild and unique. Spence and I just got back a few days ago. Cheers!

I've been to Tower Arch numerous times but really enjoyed your unique tour around the edges of it! Never had the vehicle to do the 4x4 trail, and always wanted to see what it looked like. Please continue these kinds of videos as they are really meant for the enthusiasts to enjoy! These areas are fairly off the beaten-path and not for the roadside-attraction crowds anyways. It takes effort just to get out there. Pretty cool ascending the Marching Men plateau.

I hope you're right. In places like the San Juans, it is amazing how many people bring their OHVs to explore the area. . . or Moab. Though, I guess the good news is, generally, those "riding" are not those who move around much on foot.

Karl, Thanks for your well made video adventures showing us wild, remote places most of us wouldn’t otherwise ever see. I appreciate that you’re forthcoming in telling how difficult and dangerous they can be. Abstaining from making a video about a certain place doesn’t mean someone else won’t; someone who may not be as candid in assessing the conditions. Yeah the Rockies are busy, but they’re also highly accessible. I don’t think it’s as easy for the average tourist to get to your destinations. Keep up the great work.

It's true, one of the many aspects that take me to the really wild places is knowing I will have it all to myself.

Good Video. I think I will take a look at the comments in a week or so just to see the replies. People like me will never see places like this in real life. I love your videos.

You've really done something this year with finding obscure places in the desert that either aren't reported about or are scantly reported about.

Definitely add to the Adventure! LOL wait til you see the Monument climb, It was tough to shot it so some is a bit weak but, I did still managed to snag some juicy nuggets!

@@KarlDeckerPresents It's hard to film while trad climbing and actually getting good shots, most of the amateurs on YT get garbage GoPro footage, and the pros usually have a cameraman rap / ascend ropes to various points to get the good shots.

We have been to Tower Arch, just not the way you did it. Not many people can access places like you can so I think you should keep shooting your adventures. That way we get to enjoy the experience through your lens. Thanks for sharing!😀👍

I think you're right Lynn. After thinking more on it all, with google earth, the internet. . .I'm not sure there are "secret spots," anymore.
One of my enduring goals shooting these videos is to try and allow the viewer to experience it even better than if they were there, thank you for showing me it actually is working.

For this Video as far as letting other people know they are going to have to do research before trying to go to the Arches you just showed us. They will have to be pretty diligent to make the trip you just showed us. Your average people are probably not going to do the research and dedicated route finding that is necessary!

The Park has a timed entry system April-October. Do I need a permit to enter via the north route?

We need to influence everybody to go to the beach, or Mexico, or Canada, or Vegas, or Europe. Surely they are tired of the hot dirty desert by now.
