    Thanks for sharing. Wonderful images and video. Almost a year of having the OM-1 and really enjoying it. New owner (about 2 weeks) of the 150-400mm TC lens. What a great lens, but still suffering sticker shock. Looking forward to fall migration and the opportunity to give it a real workout and getting some fantastic images.

    Great video! A nice hide, but the background bushes at the end of the pool seem a bit too close, giving a somewhat busy bokeh. Therefore the photos of birds on the perches are the better ones IMHO.

      The hardest part is the rear edge. Very difficult to get it looking attractive.

    Wonderful video shots of the birds in flight. I actually like the bedraggled flight shots I think it adds something away from the perfect looking groomed birds.

    7:20 :) People: Do you see the glass half empty or half full? Me: It's completely full. Half air, half liquid.

      No buy much time was spent inside hides with restricted views of only what we were photographing.

    Now, English is not my first language, but I thought the correct term was venomous snake rather than poisonous. But maybe I'm wrong?

    • @MikeLaneFRPS
      @MikeLaneFRPS  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You are correct, but ask 1000 Englishman to pick up a snake and I would guess 800 would ask if it is poisonous. Same as most would call a mosquito bite a bite even though it isn't.

    • @skakdosmer
      @skakdosmer ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MikeLaneFRPS well, luckily in Danish there's only one term: Giftig! (This is also the term in German, I believe). So whether it's snakes, berries, mushrooms or remarks, it's the same word.
      Mosquitos don't bite in Danish, they sting. Whether that's technically true, I don't know, because bees and wasps sting too, although it's a totally different thing.

    • @skakdosmer
      @skakdosmer ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MikeLaneFRPS ask 100 Danes to pick up a snake, and most likely they wouldn't ask any questions, but simply say NO. I know I would.

    • @MikeLaneFRPS
      @MikeLaneFRPS  ปีที่แล้ว

      No is the second thing an Englishman would say.
