Thank you. I had just came home from 12 hour work shift at the hospital I turned on my TH-cam and that’s when I saw you video. Let me tell it works. Standing for a 12 hour shift is not easy. So thank you
I don’t see many recommendations to strengthen your calves and legs. Forget the massages, they don’t help healing. Spend that time strength training. Then either walk or run (pain free) to aid healing. If you can’t walk or run pain free, change your shoes and get a high heel to toe drop shoe to take pressure off the Achilles until it heals. This is a 12 week process for most people. If you don’t strengthen your legs, you will never totally solve the problem. #experienced
Practicing boxing has destroyed my Achilles tendon.. hurts to get moving, but once moving it goes away… scary to think one can suffer further injuries.. thanks Doc.. I appreciate this one
I had this pain for a long time, then it got worse, so I had to go get an MRI, and found out. I sit at my computer and would jump up, run out the door and run 600 feet up a hill, without warming up, and I am about 60+. Well, I had torn the tendon half way. I chose, no surgery and could not deal with the foot brace. I walked around my home in baby steps and over months took bigger steps. I healed it myself and know now to warm up first.
Are you kidding me. It's like magic 😢 I couldn't stop crying out of relief ... It's been one month was couldn't do downward dog or any toe tuck in excercises but here just few secs n it already improved
I was really bummed out about this whole thing because I've seen a bunch of doctors, and all they do is give me anti-inflammatory painkillers. Hoping this massage technique actually does the trick.🙏🏻
Wow just did this and I feel great thank you mane. I’m a runner and my left leg has been hurting whenever I run. It usually hurts for the first 5-7 min while running then goes away. Now I can move on the ball of my feet with no pain . Thanks
Can anybody explain how this is so beneficial? I’ve been struggling with poor posture, groin, hip, calf & heel pain since around February but by just doing this exercise today I’ve got instant relief & released months of tension out of 1 side of my body ❤❤❤❤❤
Nicely done. Very nicely done. Thank you very much. Saw a Dr last week. He was trying to treat me for Plantars, which I couldn't get him to understand it was completely gone, and over stretching was what caused it and a bursa problem. Again, thank you so much. I'll be subscribed in a moment.
My pain is lower down, below the ankle level. On the back of the heel. I think just where the Achilles tendon joins the bone. Any help would be much appreciated. It's agony
How are you doing now. His stuff is simple and great, imo The only other think I did was wrap it for support. And I didn't buy the fancy tape. I tore up a bed sheet. And when well wrapped, I stiffened it up more with layers of masking tape. Not instant cure, but instant relief. I also had the bursitis problem under the heel. Hope my message has some value. Best wishes to you, big guy!
Heya! So, it felt pretty unvomfortable about the first 5 or 6 times but began to ease off some. I'd say I feel lighter on my feet now if you know what I mean? Was very flat footed for a long time but sometimes find myself hopping off the ball of my foot quite comfortably. As well as this I did a kind of similar pinching on my Soleus and used a massager on my calves and Tibialis anterior. Things are definitely a little more comfortable. I'm down to doing it about twice a week now. Thanks and good health to you!
