Just started liking the effect, but i have a problem: I would like to scribble an arrow that should be seen on a static image for a few seconds. I don´t want to draw hundreds of arrows. Is there a simple method to draw about 10 arrows and the copy them in series?

Do you need davinci before it'll let you use the scribble effect in fusion? For some reason when I'm using the paint tool there is no drawing over the video.

I want to ask, what if i want the scribble that i draw to stay for several keyframes? Based on your tutorial, i have to draw for every single keyframe and for a longer scribble animation it would take so long bcs i have to draw or every single keyframes only for a short movement. Is there any way to keep the same scribble for several frames, and then draw another scribble to make movement on he next several frames again? Also is thete anyway to set my pen pressure (not opacity) if i use a pen tablet? By he way i use the free version of both resolve and fusion. Hope you answer my question. Love your videos!

Jay, Do you know how to do Liquid Splatter Effect in Davinchi Resolve, it is mostly used in kids youtube channel for creativity. i cannot find such video on youtube, i only see after effects. Can you do the tutorial?
for an object that is difficult to select and capture tracking data on, can u paint part of the object and track that, or does paint work only on 1 frame?
When doing all these steps, click on the paint in fusion. On the right side of your screen there is an inspector. Inside the inspector there has to be some small icons. Under Apply Controls, Press the rubber icon which is called erase. You can edit your stroke duration/ how long the drawing stays there. When finished doing that, press the bucket tool called colour to paint.
Yes, It's Black Magic Design's software for compositing. They have a Free and paid version of the software similar to their other program DaVinci Resolve.
my program just took my freeze frame clip and changed it to the beginning of the clip instead.... the bit i had cut away from the timeline entirely. i also wasn't able to undo it. this program is profoundly broken.

I know my timeline in Davinchi Resolve has got to be: 1080x1920. Export Settings: 1080x1350 Quality: Restrict to: more than 10.000 Kb/s After starting rendering it, I get this news: Render Job 1 failed as the current clip could not be processed. Failed to encode the video frame. Can anybody help me on that? Thanks in advance. Best O

When you draw, there should be a setting called stroke duration, turn that up

How can you animate on a circle outline? Easy to do in Motion with start and end points. In here it’s not intuitive or obvious.

Inside the Davinci - fusion page it may feel bit laggy. doing it this way can be easier on hardware. This is my experience.

You can do the same thing within the fusion tab of DaVinci Resolve

After I render and go back to DaVinci, it says that media is offline? What am I supposed to do?
Media offline means the file moved and DaVinci can't find it anymore.
