Seriously, this is the build I've been looking for. Admittedly I was thinking more of trying for a kind of MCU Valkyrie type character, but didn't want to do Paladin since there's already one and I didn't want to double up. Monk/Cleric is a build I'd never have thought of, but works perfectly for that. I admit I'm gonna adjust it slightly, swap out Trickery cleric for Tempest. It doesn't work for Wonder Woman (or Valkyrie really) but having the Channel Divinity duplicate give you advantage on attack rolls and still being able to cast spells from the dupe seems like it'll be very fun, even just a couple levels in cleric. Once hitting higher levels with stuff like spirit guardians and mirror image, it could be a hell of an "WHY CAN'T I HIT YOU" type tank.
The big problem with making Wonder Woman and a monk is the fact that she uses a shield breastplate armor combo & her deflect missiles ability is from a magic item
Honestly Wonder Woman wearing actual armor is a pretty recent thing in her character history. For a long time her costume was basically a one piece swimsuit. I don't think she started using a shield (at least not regularly) until the 80s Perez run. Also her ability to deflect missiles comes from her intrinsic speed, it's just she used the bracers because, well, they were the only metal bit she wore.
You are wrong. She doesn't wear Breastplate, but a bodice. Only in the current movie that it became a kind of armor, but it has no use beyond the look, it doesn't protect from bullets or anything. The ability to deflect missiles is hers. She only wears the bracelet because it is rigid and able to deflect without damage.
As soon as you chose Monk/Kensei, I knew you were making my character Eloia, who is based on Diana. lol I ended the game as a War Priestess Cleric 14 (Athena)/Kensei 6 (Spear focused).
Cool build another cool DC character is painkiller from the Black Lightning TV show very lethal assassin with the ability to poison anybody he touches master of martial arts I would love to see a build done for him
I like a lot of this build, especially all the lasso of truth perks. I would have picked a different iteration of Wonder Woman. Maybe gone custom lineage, Skill expert feat for expertise in Athletics for her super strength, and put the extra points into her needed stats and tried to cap them off. She wouldn’t be able to fly naturally, but just get some winged boots and make them a part of her costume.
I rolled a nat 1 on my wisdom save on the urge to watch the Linda Carter Wonder Woman show but a nat 20 on Investigation to come up with a holy gunslinger build for a upcoming campaign
At first I was surprised by Monk, but if you think about her life on Themiscyra, it kind of makes sense. I think Paladin might have made more sense than Cleric though.
Hell yeah! I've been waiting for this. Thank you.
Before watching the video I had thought about Paladin or Warrior but with the multiclass Monk Cleric you won me over
You know who I've been wanting to see you build? JOHN RAMBO!!

True, if magic items were permitted, she'd probably be more like a Paladin

You should try death from darksiders or any of the 4 horsemen
I would love to see your take on Natsu Dragneel
You won't be waiting much longer for that one lol
@@dndbuilds Woo hoo!
Awesome build. A powerful multiclass without Fighter class
cool! Zatanna next?

I know this is alot to ask but I have two cool ideas. Cid Kagenou/Shadow from Eminence of Shadow and Senku Ishigami from Dr. Stone.

I rolled a Nat 1 on my Perseption check and ended up bumping my face against the invisible plane

It also would've been more MAD
Watch the 2022 film Sisu. First, you're welcome, second, please do a video on how to build Korpi from the film.
I would like to see some DC Villains
You're in luck, one's coming very soon
I would have gone far enough into monk to get deflect, but after that I would have taken her battle master the rest of the way to 20.
Not quite hashirama but at least the daughter of a god is close
I would add at least one lvl in Barbarian, for their unarmored defense, making your AC 10+Dex mod+Con mod+Wis mod while not wearing armor or a shield.
That’s technically against the rules. Any abilities that have the same name can’t stack with each other. You’d have to choose Con or Wis, not both
It’s also based on which one you get first. So barbarian has to be taken before monk
This should have been better as a barbarian/Paladin versus Monk/cleric
I think you should make a Doctor Who build
Can you build gojo satoru from jujutsu kaisen?
I always wonder how to build Wonder Woman is D&D. 😊
Day three of asking for miraak from skyrim
I saw some Wonder Woman Lara stuff in here... The biggest disappointment of my life is that never become a full comic.
create a god of war ares build next time
🥑
Beetlejuice?
This.... almost as messy as Tulocks.
Huh.
Day 4 of asking for Kumoko from spider isekai
I do wish they had a spider race, but I have a few ideas for that one
