I used it to tape the cardboard looking piece above the air conditioner to the window frame. You can see it at the end of the video. As for the type of wood, no clue my friend. I went to Lowe’s and just had them cut the scrap wood they had available from what I recall. It really shouldn’t matter in all honesty.
Thank you so much! Getting a house soon with only sliding windows. Until we can get central air in a couple years this will be a great help
happy to hear! best of luck👌
You explained everything and i am grateful you made this video
Thank you I’m glad it helped :)
Thanks for the video!!!!
not a problem! Enjoy
I was so proud I did it! It came out perfect with plastic instead to make a fake window . And HOA made me take it down. Haters lol
@@Marilynefcah that’s too bad. typical uncle sam ruining things 😅 hope you found a solution
Sweet!
Maybe I missed it, but what did you use the tape for? You glued the wood to the air conditioner, right? What kind of wood did you use?

@@ThinkingFreedom Thank you!
Will the glue hold over time?
yup, will last until we have 31 days in February
@@ThinkingFreedom How can you put that much faith in an adhesive. This might be dangerous.
@@sarentopi1502gorilla glue is not very far from nuts and bolts with small things. You have to try it to realize its efficacy.
omg I got dizzy watching this video
haha some of y’all upset for the sake of it 🤷♂️. It is easy enough to follow the steps
Too distracting with video angles bouncing around.
