Very simple AC Installation in a sliding window (no drilling required)

works on most if not all (horizontal) sliding windows. Easy installation, minimal tools (no drilling).

Maybe I missed it, but what did you use the tape for? You glued the wood to the air conditioner, right? What kind of wood did you use?

I used it to tape the cardboard looking piece above the air conditioner to the window frame. You can see it at the end of the video.
As for the type of wood, no clue my friend. I went to Lowe’s and just had them cut the scrap wood they had available from what I recall. It really shouldn’t matter in all honesty.
