Hooah, troop. Great video, outf&^ingstanding. Been there myself. Spent way too many nights with a .40 in my mouth. A buddy dragged me to some help. Saved my life.
On this day I always remember 1LT Roger Lee Johnson, Det. A-105, 5th SFG (ABN), 1st. SF. KIA OCT 1968, Nong Son, RVN. My OCS classmate as well as Jump, Ranger and SF schools. We were teammates at Nong Son, as well. Rest easy, Brother.

Even though I'm Canadian, I understand what Memorial day is about and the importance of this day. RIP to the soldiers that gave their lives for freedom. To those who are still here and struggling, I am extremely grateful to you all. You are the model of what we should all aspire to be. Thanks to you Nate for always giving us the objective, respectful truth. Keep well.

Amen. America is the greatest country ever, in world history; "warts" and all. It's not perfect like her critics, but America is amazing, beautiful, and precious bc of her people.
Thank you for your service and sacrifice.

I lost 5, 3 in war and 2 to suicide, I can't forget if I want to. Also 1/6 veterans are committing suicide! 1/7 are in prison. The ultimate sacrifice? It's deeper than the public will ever know.

I want to ask any combat veteran how they respond and how they feel when someone thanks them for their service because I really don’t like it when its said to me, I don’t wear anything military related but family and friends that know me tell other people they know and at functions it really catches me off guard when someone thanks me for my service. I feel awkward and don’t know how to respond because I am not proud of many of the things we did, the monster I became and the betrayal I feel when people are ok with voting for a draft dodger like Bill Clinton and Donald Trump who mocks prisoners of war like John MaCain our generals and our dead.
