Even jet pilots don't claim that and yet here we are lol. And jet pilots have the same peculiar changes in their brains as f1 drivers btw, so if anyone would have the reason to believe they can pivot it would be them.
Yes true but the difference between a pitched match and a life or death situation is irrelevant, mortal death is involved so guess what? It means your fists mean nothing if someone can out stab/gun you. Yeah a trained fighter is probably going to be good at hand to hand, combat doesn’t work like that.
@@myeka1273 Youre switching goalposts out of defensiveness. The original point is that SF guys could beat MMA guys in hand-to-hand (not including weapons) combat because they "saw combat and people dying" or whatever, ignoring that all MMA fighters *do* is train hand-to-hand combat. Maybe youre on the spectrum but a "street fight" in this context simply means a no rules (or very limited rules) hand to hand fight , not a "you approach me in my lifted f150 and I get to live out my CCA fantasy" scenario. When on the mat or on the street, no military person (unless they are also experienced in MMA) is going to take down an MMA fighter, let alone a world class one like O'Malley or Strickland. Without rules you're getting your arm snapped in a few seconds.
That's actually concerning, these dope heads are supposed to be the best of the best, doing some seriously dangerous shit. And then these dudes think they are Steven seagull
Thr navy seal who sparred Strickland was actually a humble dude. The other ones who were talking shit are the ones who need to get in there and spar Strickland 😂
Not sure what peoples deal is thinking a street fight with “no rules” is going to go down any different then in the cage, 9/10 it’ll make Sean even more dangerous
To play devils advocate, for everyone in this thread; a sambo player might have the edge on an amateur mma player in a violent playing for keeps type of street fight.
Something to be said about "The Quiet Professionals". When i was a kid, my Dad would take me to a bar on Christmas Eve, every year, and we would sit on stools next to my Grandfather. My Grandad hated Christmas, would never be at home with Grandma and the dog. I never knew why. He would just sit and sip beer all night. Decades later, after I have served multiple combat tours, I found out he was actually in The Battle Of The Bulge. I finally understood........people that have been there and done that, dont like to talk about it, they just want to be left alone. God Bless you Pops. I miss you
It depends, with my line of work, i met plenty of special ops guys and i am good friends with a few. They won't divulge things out in the open for eveyone to know but once yok get to know them, some like to speak about their experiences and some do not.
My grandfather was there with the 106th. He also didn't talk about it, my grandma has said that the only time he ever talked about the war was when speaking to others who had also fought in the war
Damn, no battle in ww2 would have been fun by any means but the battle of the bulge definitely would have been a brutal battle to fight in, in a war riddled with unbelievable brutality and death.
Mitch Aguiar is the SEAL that stepped into the ring with Sean. He is a professional MMA fighter himself and a solid dude. He said himself that he knew there was no beating Sean but he just wanted to see if he could last the sparring match. He got his ass beat for the full 25 min (Sean could have ended it as soon as they started but said he didn't want to knock him out), but took it like a man and was super humble about the whole thing from the start. He ate a head kick at the end that would make most dudes take a dirt nap for a while. Earned Sean's respect as well as many others for hopping into the ring even though he knew the odds weren't in his favor at all. Kudos Mitch
@@markusstolac3664 no, he's in good shape, just not competition shape (which includes cutting weight...he cuts about 40 lbs). He says he's been competing in Jits only now.
I got into a street fight when I was in the Marines. I thought I was a badass MCMAP warrior. I don't remember the fight at all however, when I woke up back inside the bar and asked what was going on I was promptly told "You just got KTFO, we need to leave".
Yeah, when I joined an MMA gym my kickboxing coach was a former Marine and I was Army. He said he envied our program because it closely resembled actual fighting compared to MCMAP. I train now and it’s much harder than what I did in the military in regard to hand to hand combat. Not in the same realm. I respect Marines a ton but a lot of them let that title go to their heads when it comes to fighting.
Retired 18Z here, ODA 522 and 026. 6'4" 240lbs. VFT speaks the truth. In 22 years, 1/2 as a paratrooper 82nd and 509th, I received a few hours a year of hand to hand. The only one I remember specifically was a class given during MOUT tng in Bonnland. It was excellent because the instructors were outstanding and humorous. Back in the day, we called SEALS California cowboys, and I'm sure they called us names too. The strength of an A Team is not in its individual members but as a group. Take 12 UFC fighters in hand to hand with an ODA, and it's Custer's last stand. But take those same UFC and plop them down in the empty quarter of Oman or the jungles of Panama and have them stand up a fighting force of locals, ain't happening. God made man, and Colt made him equal.
No doubt, obvious different strength. Put 12 UFC fighters in the woods against 12 armed SF dudes and you’ll end up with 12 dead fighters, but in the cage is obviously opposite. Nothing wrong with acknowledging reality.
Respect for your service. I think Strickland got pissed off mostly because Goggins got a great Ufc fighter with mental issues who was way gone past his prime to say the least and who was at the lowest possible point in his carrer physically and mentally. His training run his beat up body to the ground instead of Tony getting the right mma training honing his skills in a real mma gym. Goggins should have stayed in his lane running untrained people to death. Strickland should not have included other seals but I guess they can not help trying to tell the whole world how tough they were fighting guys in sandals with Ak's while they had air support, intelligence, tanks, missiles etc. I do not see any black rock type of guys on the front lines in Ukraine
So that was Mitch Aguilar. He fought in a local MMA Org while in the Teams won two titles but that’s the difference between elite striker and not. Props to Mitch for stepping in there in no way am I talking shit about him. He’s a big dude just Sean is a elite

In Ranger school, they do like an hour long “hand to hand” combat pit where everyone essentially rolls with a partner and then switches partners repeatedly..I just remember trying to conserve energy and faking it with my partners lol
@@nichfol that’s really not a lot compared to many martial art hobbyists. Most local mma schools have open mat days. Come in and spar for 3-4 hours straight, with 5 minute rounds, so you’re constantly having to move. Can be striking, grappling, or both. I’ve been to some where you had to do 100 pushups between each round. Some schools are open to other arts, so boxer, karate, kung fu show up… or people do weapons. I personally like going empty handed against weapons. Dedicated hobbyists might put in 3-16 hrs a week of training. Hello. Marine Vet here and a boxer. I really appreciate how you keep it real. Its true, going to Boot, or BUDs, or Delta. Does not make a person BRUCE LEE. Thank you for this much needed reality check.
A Navy SEAL wouldn't beat Sean Strickland or any MMA fighter in a fight, just like Strickland wouldn't beat a SEAL in a gun fight/war. Let's be fair, nothing but respect for both.
@@mrhay7712I don't think you realize that many where not teens in flip flops but warriors who'd been in war their whole lives, eager to gain prestige for killing Americans. You underestimate the opposition gravely.
@kingkazuma2239 ? No rules just means the UFC champion is at a huge advantage in hand to hand fighring. Think about it, if a UFC champion were in a true fight to the death, they'd have all their professional skills and presumably be conditioned for one on one fights. Now add the fact that they can fight as dirty as they want and do literally anything to win. Im not hating on seals but without weapons I think they'd struggle horribly.
I'm a brown belt in bjj. And there is one guy in our gym who used to be a Marine. He's very tough mentally. While he's not a match for me (he's a blue belt), he's very good and beats a lot of people just because of his mental fortitude. Mental toughness is very good for fighting, but it's not going to enable you to beat a top tier fighter.
Great comment. I myself am in that boat, I have been training for a long time, and am much bigger stronger and faster than most people I train with, and I still get dismantled by guys at higher skill level who are significantly smaller than me, that’s the reality of real combat sports.

I think Sean Strickland in a street fight with “no rules” would probably make him even more dangerous. You can tie Sean’s strong hand behind his back and these guys probably couldn’t stand a chance
For anybody that follows UFC, lightweight contender Benoit San Denis (former French SAS nickname God of War) when he was a relatively green fighter took an absolutely savage beating at UFC 267. The ref who refused to stop the fight has never reffed another fight in his life and for good reason. Benoits heart and his toughness was never in question. But he didn’t have the skill at the time to do anything more than say I didn’t quit. Big respect to him tho, not only because of his former career taking out terrorists, but after taking that beating, he continued to put all his time, effort, dedication into fighting (which was impossible b4) and is now deservedly one of the best lightweights in the world.
Come on man "one of the best" the lightweight division is absolutely without question the most stacked Benoit is maybe top 15-20 range literally anyone within the top 8 are legitimate champion material and he wouldn't beat Olivera Garthje Porier Holloway or Michael Chandler plus you have to consider even if he cracks the top 5 he'll will never beat Islam Makhachev he's a great fighter with a lot of potential but he's in the most competitive relentless division the UFC has probably ever seen but who knows iron sharpens iron he could shock the world
Mirko "Crocop" Filipovic joined the Croation military when he was 19. But his passion was martial arts and is a legend in the kickboxing and MMA world. I believe that no man should be underestimated regardless of their profession. It's what's in that man's heart and mind that makes him capable in applying the knowledge he has received.
I dig how you don't pull any punches bro. Former 1-15 INF. Also over 20 years of BJJ and Boxing (competing). It's annoying to talk to civilians that think that SOF guys have this magical power. Unless they train on their own time, they are tough and athletic, nothing more (hands on).
I am not in the military. But I have shy of 30 years of martial arts training in several arts. For a long stretch of my years it was normal for me to train 2 hours a day 5-6 days a week. Pro fighters put in even more hours. With that said, I was shocked by how few hours of hand to hand combat are required in military organizations compared to the average martial arts hobbyist.
I was in the military, medically retired after wounds sustained in Afghanistan. I’m not surprised that you are shocked. Hollywood and the media at large paint a poor picture of actual military life and the reality of combat. Several factors come into play: there are going to be precious few instances where today’s deployed combatants would find themselves in a “hand to hand” situation, where you are going to be alone or where you or your comrades are not going to be armed with some sort of weapon. The military trains for a decent level of proficiency with what you are likely to encounter and a hand to hand fight just isn’t high on the list. Extensive hand to hand training would delay getting troops on the ground, cost more tax dollars and result in more injuries. It just isn’t feasible. My entire time in Afghanistan I saw one instance that could be considered close enough quarters for hand to hand and it was resolved with a bayonet. As with first aid, you are taught enough for the one off, odd situation; but it’s much better to pour your “skill points” into firearm proficiency.
Pro fighters dont all train that long each day. Mostly, theyre just that much more skilled than everyone else. Seriously. The NBA is a good analogy. 450 guys make it to the nba out of the world population. Wanna know what % that comes out to? This percentage; 0.000005625%. 😂😂😂😂 That means an NBA player is the top .000005625% basketball player on the planet. Brian Scallabrine after demolishing a bunch of weekend sports fans who claimed they could beat his ass one on one when he was 5 years removed from playing (news flash they didnt and got destroyed themselves). After, he hilariously said "the difference between me and michael jordan is WAY smaller than the difference between me and everyone else. Compared to Jordan I suck. Compared to me? YOU suck." How many active UFC fighters are there in total? 951. Sooooo .00006253% make it to the ufc. MMA fighters spend 100% of their time being the best at exactly that. Seals or elite military units spend way less time honing this skill. Chatgpt answered it for me btw. Here is the estimation in time training in cqc unarmed as a SEAL. "Overall, unarmed CQC might constitute a small fraction of the total BUD/S training time, possibly around 2-3 weeks if we consider focused training sessions" Tldr can the toughest man beat a trained UFC MMA fighter who has worked at that one specific craft for yrs AND is one of the best 900 or so fighters on the planet? Obviously not.

I love the "in a street fight argument" as if the streets give some mystical power. It sounds like the guy that gets winded going up the stairs talks about seeing red.
@@earlhildebrand As someone who used to get into a kot of street fights due to my profession, I can tell you they are. It is at all the same. You can even see it in combat sports. Put an MMA guy in a boxing ring or a Boxer in an octagon and you see how poor they do, due to rules and restrictions they're not used to. There are also many variables in a street fight and I'll use several examples... 01: There is no mat. A fight often times end when someone hits the floor. And death is even a real possibility. 02: Lack of gloves. Gloves allow you to transfer kinetic energy at a much higher force. Since you damage your hands. You start pulling your punches immediately. So, an MMA fighter won't be able to rely on them. Also, damaged hands means they can be disabled. 03: People fear great bodily injuries, death and lawsuits. And in fights, you see people think about those real quick. Since there is no referee to intervene. 04: Gouging and bitting. Those do far more damage then people realize. Both physically & psychologically. 05: Weapons & random objects. Guns, knives, glass, sticks, rocks, bricks, glass bottles, etc. 06: You revert to what you're trained to do. So, all those rules and restrictions in combat sports will be hindering. With all that said. Strickland is a big dude. And he can take hits better then most MMA guys. Those two big factors that determine a street fight. Even in combat sports, there are weight classes.
Hmm depends people typically fight like they train so they can have weird gaps in their defense that can be exploited but unless you've trained to exploit that weakness and know when and how to get it to open up your going to get folded almost every time.
Been in "street fights" and altercations on top of also being a former mma fighter, can confirm that dealing with a less trained opponent in the street is much easier than another fighter, except for the possibility of a weapon. If I took any of the light weights I knew and threw them in with a navy seal while blindfolded, my money is on the light weight fighters. Sure, if you put a navy seal against the average joe with no training, the navy seal woild probably win just due to the fact that they're a trained athlete with at least a little bit of hand to hand training.
@@AdrianCaraveo-fx1fkno they are not. They do NOT train to beat people up. So they'll never ever win against trained fighters where that's all the do is train to fight hand to hand combat. Military doesn't train to fight hand to hand, they get trained to kill. They get a few classes on fighting hand to hand combat, but that's literally it. They get a few hours a year training what MMA guys do. I don't understand why this is so hard to understand
@@AdrianCaraveo-fx1fkso no, they are not any different. First let me say that i am not special forces material. That being said, I seldom hear Force Recon or Green Berets bragging about themselves. I wonder why SEALS feel the need to tell everyone how great they think they are.
Sean would not have a chance to perform as well as a professional assassin as a navy seal in combat, just as a seal will not perform well with a professional ufc fighter.
That's not a fair analogy Sean isn't the type to stab someone in the back or sneak in and kill them in their sleep he'd without question fight them face to face I get your point but he's not a guy to do anything quietly but I will say he's not the type to break or quit he suffered for years mentally and physically from his abusive father he's been through hell just a different version of hell he wouldn't break from training or mental stress
Absolute respect to that SEAL for showing up and not giving up. Also it is very telling. A SEAL, like all SF, is good at taking punishment, being sleep deprived, killing enemy, staying alive in a combat zone etc. If Strickland was in that environment he wouldn't survive, or he would get people killed. Prize fighting is a completely different game. Where, as demonstrated, the SEAL is in an environment where they can't win. For comparison look at Boxing. Gene Tunney, Ken Norton and Rocky Marciano have been practically the only ones to perform excellently after learning their trade in the Military. Many others tried and failed. Two completely different spheres.
@@KahlessTheUnforgettable 100%. I wasn't saying Strickland said he could do what they do. And yes the problem is the other way around for the most part. I am saying that these are two different spheres, and that, as Strickland said, much respect to that SEAL for getting in and banging with him mate.
It's kind on eerie how history repeats itself when it comes to military members challenging the gladiators/fighters of their time. Roman legionnaires would occasionally fight a gladiator in the arena in hand to hand and it very rarely ever went well for the legionnaires, same as today with any SOF vs professional MMA fighters in a hand to hand situation.
I don’t know why they think they can. Just like your legionnaire vs gladiators example, the legionnaire is trained to fight in a formation and a gladiator is trained to fight other gladiators. The advantage is obvious.
I appreciate the blunt & professional perspective that you incorporate in your videos. Just happened to stumble upon your channel & I'm glad that I did.
Gone are the days of when SEALs kept quiet about being a SEAL. I remember reading about a former SEAL in the 80s and was stationed in Virginia Beach that when they were asked what they did for a living, they used the cover that they were skydivers for Coors.
Thank you army I am a former US Marine. You are on the money here me Marines! By the time I was in boot camp I was a golden gloves boxer so line training was a joke😂 I had to explain to my fellow recruits that its not tough guy its training and discipline. Time and focus better spent on the rifle range.
3:19 Reminds me of an interview with Bas Rutten where someone claimed they could counter a rear choke by gouging Bas's eyes. Bas simply said, well then I'll break your neck.
Ain’t no way Did all that stuff, 1/75, time down range, tired to turn pro in MMA back when there were no weight classes….. the gap between being handy and being a pro is to large to routinely overcome
The world's strongest man (Tom Stoltman) isn't the best bench presser in the world. The best bench presser in the world (Juliuis Maddox) spends all his time training for bench, while the world's strongest man spends his time to be strong at every exercise
Mitch Aguiar not only trains but has fought amateur and professionally for years in smaller organizations. So he's not delusional like some of these other Seals talking shit. My guess is that he just felt pressured to step up and represent the Seal community. He knew he wasn't going to beat Strickland and just wanted to test himself. Real fighters aren't afraid to spar with bigger and better fighters because that's how you get better.
From what he said he already knew Sean a little bit from a few previous meetings and thought it would be a good hype thing for both of them to do it. He also straight up said that he did it to promote his brand of workout stuff after having multiple Instagram business accounts shut down for bs. He also said he absolutely no delusions that he would win at all and knew it was going to suck he just wanted to not quit lol
The seal said that he fought Sean for expirience only as he had the opportunity to fight a ufc champion. But the red t shirt guy has no value on that specific matter as he is not only a scam but the worst tactical seal instructor on the internet
It is embarrassing , seriously. I went through airborne school with a handful of navy seals, they were much different back then. Thats a fact, they didnt talk like this at all, they spent there time staying in shape and trainiing, this is like modern day wrestling from these young seals. just sayin.
I’m ex Military, I’ll leave it at that, their isn’t one Seal who could beat up ANY MMA fighter, I love Seals, but they’re clueless as to how badass these UFC guys are.
Great video brother. Good calling those dudes out. I’ve been trying to do the same on my channel. I like how you handle it professionally it’s apparent you are trying your best not to be bias. It’s hard when the SEALS do so many unprofessional things in public.
I remember when I was a young pup in the Navy and when force protection measures were being reevaluated and implemented. A Senior Chief Instructing us in very basic unarmed Self-defense said, this isn't martial arts, this isn't sports or demonstration. Nothing fancy or anything, very quick and to the point. And we did it in place of PT.
Just came across your channel sir. Wow ! Seriously the straight talk and sincerity is very commendable! I take this guy to be a gentle quiet killer! He knows his capabilities and his limits! Thanks for your service and I salute you! This humble man must be an amazing instructor!
Props to former SEAL Andy Stumpf for also calling these guys out. I believe his words were - “They need to STFU” Not including Mitch Aguiar, he’s a very humble and respected dude in the MMA world. He’s not afraid of failing and getting humbled by professionals that are better then him. He’s a great guy and would encourage folks to give him a follow. 💯🤙
Every clip I see of Andy Stumpf being asked about BUDS, his eyes roll to the back of his head and he ALWAYS emphasize to ''BASIC'' Underwater Demolition/SEAL Training.
I agree that anyone outside of a profession, electrician, plumber, UFC fighter, etc., should let the professionals do their thing and pipe down. No journeyman wants to hear a customer tell them how to do their job.
That seal mitch is act a pro mma fighter and jj black belt outside of his military career so its not just a non trained guy vs sean .. that said still dumb idea 😂
Yeah that guy is too tough for his own good. He's second guessing his decision after taking all those leg kicks for sure. Even the old seals are acting like they can beat a ufc champ. Thabk you for being a realist and speaking the truth. Frogman tactical will probably want to fight you next lmao
Mitch has a supplement company that was nearly destroyed by him speaking out against the tyrannical covid overlords, I believe this was a marketing strategy on his part cause the whole internet is now talking about it. pretty genius if you ask me
So UFC fighter trains punches, blocks, kicks and grappling 3-6 hours every day for a living, some Spec Ops guy who does some unarmed close fighting techniques here and there, but spends way more time in the kill house CQB shooting or on a range on an operation, thinks they can go fisticuffs with a pro? WTF.
I was curious about the title because I wasn’t tracking the SEAL saying he’d chew another grown man’s face off. 😂😂 Some of these SEALs seem to have less awareness about the fight game and levels of it than regular people. 😅
Thank you. I'm so tired of listening to them, and I'm glad you don't think it's a vanity project and WAS a job. Really respect you a TON for it. I thought it was just me.
This os ridiculous brother. I am 6ft 1 215 pounds would not attempt to fight a UFC fighter. I would go to my EDC if they wanted to fight me. You are right on point with this and the Seals on another controversy. Another great video.
That's a crazy thing to say. Goggins has a better chance of a lucky knockout then Sean Strickland has at any event Goggins has done. Goggins is regularly a top 5 ultra-athelete in the world. Sean Strickland would literally die if he ran the Badwater 135 let alone finish the race or come in 3rd like Goggins did.
82nd Airborne Veteran here. We had a really healthy combatives program that included competitive events, and occasional guest instructors who were professional grapplers or mma fighters.. I feel like everyone had at lease some sense of how abilities scaled from our level to a professional one. The fact that these SEALs were so delusional makes me wonder if they have a combatives program at all.
Its just that extreme self confidence that operators have talking, classic case of "you dont know what you dont know", and if any of them ever tried strickland he would show them exactly what they dont know.
Sure Navy Seals can beat UFC or Bellator or any MMA fighter, and sometimes vice versa. Here's a short list: 1. Under their rules and regulation, if a navy seal and soldier has some martial arts and hand to hand training, and fights in the environment of the MMA fighter, chances are higher that the Navy Seal person would lose more than win those fights as those fights favors the MMA fighter. 2. If the MMA fighter fought under rules by Navy Seals, or participated in their hell week training, chances are higher that the MMA fighter wouldn't keep up. 3. Navy Seals has many ways of severely injuring and killing MMA fighters. We're talking about snipers, drive bys, planted bombs, missile strikes, use of grenades, use of knives, many other weapons used and many more about lethal force. In this sense the Navy Seals actually destroys MMA fighters like this, there's no question. 4. People who are right wing, white, young male suburban, too long in the internet cheerleading Navy Seals or MMA fighters, all who are fanboys of Eddie Bravo or Joe Rogan, these types are delusional in thinking MMA fighters have any chance at all in surviving Navy Seal attacks. Are delusional and in deep denial of reality riding the jocks of Joe Rogan and even Sean Strickland! That's what's been fueling this back and forth and it's honestly disappointing.
@@NPC-fl3gq I'm delusional in thinking that a UFC fighter will get killed so many times when Navy Seals use weapons like knives, guns, machine guns, bombs, drone strikes, artillery fire, Gatling guns, RPGs, grenades, tactical missile strikes, sniper fire??? Like I said, hand to hand combat UFC fighters would win more times, but actual combats involving weapons Navy Seals, not just one but a full decked out team, will kill your favorite MMA fighter. Name any MMA fighter you want, and the Navy Seals will kill them just like that, broad daylight or past midnight in pitch dark, in any weather conditions. How am I deluded in thinking that? Explain my apparent delusion,
@@danielnelson3136 Because you're taking the argument to the most extreme position possible. This is no different than me saying an astronaut is tougher than a seal because the astronaut can drop an anvil out of a space station into a seals head. If you need to take your argument to an extreme to win an argument, then you've already lost the argument.
@@alexferrana3979 look im a former SOF medic, and I used to box and wrestle as a teenager. I could handle my own, but these professional fighters are light years ahead of all people. Just like if I tried to compare myself to an experienced trauma surgeon, there really is no comparison.
This has been a thing for a long time. In the early and mid 2000s when I was training guys used to come to the gym from the marines, seals, rangers, etc. It was the same every time. They came in thinking they were tough, we humiliated them and then they got good really quickly because they were tough and worked hard. Straight out of the military they were fresh fish.
Happy 4th bro! Is going into the guard at 28 a bad idea? I’m going 68w, but my dad was ranger qualified (not ranger battalion, he was 14th infantry brigade). I’ve heard back then they were pushing for for one man to be ranger qualified in every squad in the army. I’m going guard regardless, but does being ranger qualified mean the same now as it did then? He got out a few months before 9/11, and when he couldn’t get a combat deployment after discharge, he told the army to eff off
Great video sir I live you honesty and professionalism and yes type the real deal tought guys are the quiet one that doe's broad cast themed as badly assess
I don’t think that SEAL ever went into that sparring match with the intentions of winning and why would we? He’s not a pro fighter and he knows that. I don’t even know why he got in there but SF guys are a little crazy and being in there for 25 minutes is probably a lot easier than most training he’s ever had to do so why not? It was a once in a lifetime experience! Most guys running their mouth on the internet don’t have the balls to do what he did so good for him!
“I drove trucks in the Army, so of course I could beat Lewis Hamilton on the race track.”
Lol, good one. Exactly my point.
Even jet pilots don't claim that and yet here we are lol. And jet pilots have the same peculiar changes in their brains as f1 drivers btw, so if anyone would have the reason to believe they can pivot it would be them.
I'd put my money on the 88 Mike

My Dad was also in The Battle Of The Bulge. 82nd Airborne. He told very few stories of the war.
Is the battle of the bulge a group of men seeing who can fit their bulge in your grandmother?
Kudos Mitch

We are TACTICAL WARRIORS not pro fighters, there is a BIG DIFFERENCE, I think that’s what frogman actual was trying to convey as “cringe” as it was. And in the USMC, we are starting to mix Brazilian Jui Jitsu and MMA and JUDO 🥋 into the Marine Corps Martial Arts program like that Shallow water BJJ is a perfect example. I don’t see any of those guys doing that in the ring f ucks sakes, because you know we train for survival, not to tap in the ring for money.
All due respect sir, I know you are trying to be humble to appeal to a wider audience but we would f ucking WASTE these TV screen Hollywood “warriors” if one of them started $hit with us
We don’t get paid 100k when we FAIL 😂 we pay with OUR LIVES that’s the difference. Idk what combatives they teach in the Green Berets ALL DUE RESPECT but you would probably f ucking annihilate Strickland if you had to, I personally didn’t train all my life to become a TACTICAL PROFESSIONAL to be punked by some “ring fighter” 😂 ALL DUE RESPECT sir…….I just don’t give a flying F UCK who you are and we train in martial arts our entire military career and even before that. I would consider myself humble as well but that doesn’t mean we would lose to one of these “TV RING FIGHTERS” I swear on my life if they started a fight with us, they would regret it instantly. I know you are trying to be humble but I just felt a DIRE NEED to make that point.
We don’t start fights, we finish them. Semper fi 🏴☠️🇺🇸🦅 honestly guys like you are the last people anyone wants to f ucking underestimate, I don’t care how many times they tap for money in a g oddamn ring…..All those guys you served with ARE HUMBLE as well as all of the people I know in the military. But we wouldn’t hesitate to put someone in their f ucking place if they decided to start some $hit with the wrong people. Which is guys like you and the SAVAGES you served with, and the savages I am going into the USMC Infantry with.
Again I know you are trying to be humble, but saying Highly trained military KILLERS “can’t fight” is just HIGHLY misleading and undermining their skill as a professional SOLDIER/WARRIOR 😅……. All due respect sir 🫡 🏴☠️🇺🇸🦅
🏴☠️We wouldn’t start a fight, but we would f ucking finish it🇺🇸 “UFC FIGHTER” or not. I don’t give a G ODDAM who they are.
I am a humble person but I don’t like people discrediting OUR skill as TACTICAL PROFESSIONAL WARRIORS. 🏴☠️
In Ranger school, they do like an hour long “hand to hand” combat pit where everyone essentially rolls with a partner and then switches partners repeatedly..I just remember trying to conserve energy and faking it with my partners lol
The old SERE school technique, used it throughout my time in the Q course
@@nichfol that’s really not a lot compared to many martial art hobbyists. Most local mma schools have open mat days. Come in and spar for 3-4 hours straight, with 5 minute rounds, so you’re constantly having to move. Can be striking, grappling, or both. I’ve been to some where you had to do 100 pushups between each round. Some schools are open to other arts, so boxer, karate, kung fu show up… or people do weapons. I personally like going empty handed against weapons. Dedicated hobbyists might put in 3-16 hrs a week of training. They could have 5-20+ years under their belt… and still be humble enough to be a forever student.
@@ajaniwinston8117 that’s exactly my point, military hand to hand stuff is essentially non existent so I always find it silly when guys start talking g shit to people who train for a living or free time haha
I was shocked watching Sean Strickland fight that one Navy Seal. Sean looked like he was playing with a child. I had no idea.

A Navy SEAL wouldn't beat Sean Strickland or any MMA fighter in a fight, just like Strickland wouldn't beat a SEAL in a gun fight/war. Let's be fair, nothing but respect for both.
I mostly agree, but plenty of seals got killed by teenagers in flip flops over in the middle east, so even with guns they're not invincible.

Problem solved.

@@kingkazuma2239without the gun it’s going to end the same, rules or no rules

Lmao that first one was "Frogman tactical", he has a youtube channel and made a video where he also challenged Lucas Botkin to a literal fight to the death for like no reason. His ego appears to be quite fragile and his identity is still wrapped up with the Seal Teams even at his age.
Despite being like 99.99% ideologically similar too. Froggy just thinks he's the final word on anything shooting, tactical, combatives as a white side seal.
Frogman Tactical challenged me, because I stuck up for some viewer he insulted. I accepted and he kept taking my comment down. I told him leave it on or the challenge is off. Let your viewers see the truth.

Yes he was special forces, operated in an anti-terrorist unit.
Crocop’s occupation on his taxes is listed as “warrior”
YOU suck."
How many active UFC fighters are there in total?
"Overall, unarmed CQC might constitute a small fraction of the total BUD/S training time, possibly around 2-3 weeks if we consider focused training sessions"

@@jarethpalmer8672 Amen.
On the streets, firearms, blades, and groups of friends are involved. Lets not be stupid

Check your own delusions, fanboy 😂

Because you're taking the argument to the most extreme position possible.
This is no different than me saying an astronaut is tougher than a seal because the astronaut can drop an anvil out of a space station into a seals head.
If you need to take your argument to an extreme to win an argument, then you've already lost the argument.
Thank you for your service and the honest content.
bro I'm shocked!!!! a professional fighter, former UFC world champion beat the crap out of a navy squeal? WHAT?
Try to explain that to people that says that Navy SEALs would "stomp" MMA fighter in a fight
He got out a few months before 9/11, and when he couldn’t get a combat deployment after discharge, he told the army to eff off
Being ranger qualified is still a huge deal in any combat arms mos, and in special forces still as well.
"Me and my boys are the real version of what hes talking about" lol great video man
