The first gen CLS are an absolute gem! I’m on my third one now, and have owned the newer one as well but the first gen is by far the most beautiful and elegant looking.
@@redasthecolor hi it looks VERY good and cheap. many kind of model are. old c and e models not durable maybe only olds. production date matters, and engine size in few countries year tax much cheaper. one russian made a bunch of good quality video about his CLS55 AMG and his travels. durable?
I see this comment on almost every cls video. The responses are always about aesthetics or that Mercedes “called it a coupe”, but I never see anyone reply that sedans have 4 doors but those doors also have pillars. These doors don’t have pillars, which is why they’re able to get away with calling it a 4 door coupe. The only cars with pillarless doors outside of this class are coupes and convertibles.
Oh my oh my! At last, you came back with a great great video. Can you like make a video of how you take deals like that? It's good that people know how to get these kinds of deals or you have a course for it? I want to get a car I would like in a way just like you did but don't know how. Mhmm
Your car is just awesome. Please keep it and never sell if possible. It's so unique with the mileage and the options you have, I'm a bit jealous, honestly, even I own a C218 2018 CLS 63 S 4-Matic in Diamond White, with Ceramic Brakes, Bang and Olufsen, Carbon Interior and Outside, I'd still considering getting a C219 just because of your presentation and the beautiful cinematic film you did with your perfect example. Also, a few things to share about the car options/equipment: - There is the Standard Soundsystem, then Harman/Kardon, and the AMG High-End Surround-System found in not many cars. There was even an fourth option being the Bang and Olufsen BeoSound for the facelifted version (yes, the C219) but it was quickly discontinued within several days being in the configuration and apparently someone even bought it, and the part number exists for the speakers, covers etc. - You could order a Performance package from factory having 525 HP instead the original 514 HP, and 650nm instead the original 630nm. As standard you would get the darker-silver color for the body, the carbon exterior package as standard and some exclusive lightweight 18 inch rims. It was sold only to a few customers end of the production life for C219. - There are some hidden features in the NTG such as Curvetronic where it will display upcoming road curves on your navigation system such as in a video game. If not present in your NTG, you can unlock it with MB-Star Diagnostics (Vediamo/Monaco). - For a specific year and month for the C219, all units received Acoustic Glass by mistake. It was a mistake in production, and never intended for the car.
I freaking love the w219. I’ve owned a cls55 for awhile now, and it’s a fucking tank. My bloated tick has proven to be quite reliable. It turns heads, the engine sounds awesome, very comfortable, the suspension is useful, in my town full of potholes, and it’ll kill a brand new scat pack. It’s quite a superb bañana. And was available in the US.
I love those but I think the 90s Pontiac Grand Prix kicked off the modern sedan coupe. The ProtoSport4 was their wishful thinking concept. Awesome deal on test one. Love the color!
4 years now with a 350 cgi, indium gray, sincerely i was on that time going mad behind a 55 amg or a 63 amg, but when i found my unit, i buyed instantly for 15k € in spain... its not an amg, but guy...those 300 hp are alive its faster than i though considering the size of the car, however a friend of my cousin offers me to do a stage 1 ecu remap, and the car now has 319 hp and a less consumption, and the car goes like a train....around 400 € the remap, it had 105k km ( 65k miles) when i buyed, now has 123k km ( 76k miles), i had to solve the principal problem of this cars, wich is the mechatronic board of the 7g trans.. 1.6k € the cost of the unit, plus the atf, bolts, filter and gasket... other than that, the engine is rock solid reliable, love it.
lol the same cars cost here in Turkey up to 35k high mileage... if u want a decent low mileage model around 45-50k USD dollars 4.800 is a joke :) I would probably buy also 2-3 cars. I tell u what this car is going to be like BMW 5 2005 or Audi RS6 that car looks so unique it's totaly worth of getting cls!
