Once again ya produced a cool story. Got to say though I laughed at 1:19 just how it all played out. Pharaoh: "ah a lovely day wonder what it has in store." (crocodile croaks) Pharaoh: "alright fine I'll go try and fix this." and in the end he gets his gator buddy back.
To be fair, that Petsuchos probably represented some kind of sacred, divine crocodile. So even though the kingdom was going throught a crisis, the Pharaoh probably thought that it would eventually pass. When the Petsuchos died, that was the sign that this was no ordinary crisis, so the Pharaoh had to step down from just administering and take matters into his own hand literally. Either that or the offering for the Gods was simply not ready yet, it could be that too.
Your cinematics always bring out childhood memories of Age of Mythology. In fact, they're uch more impressive than the gaming cinematics have ever been - each of your scenes has a painterly touch. I can only imagine the amount of effort you put into these.
As someone who played a *lot* of aom back in the day (and spent some time in the scenario editor), this just totally blows me away. Fantastic cinematic!
I've been playing AOM for years now and never have I seen a cinematic as well done as this one. Hats off to you man, I am blown away. Keep up the amazing work!
Your videos instantly calm me down man, this is PURE nostalgy heightened by your ''observative'' cinematic style. I really do feel like I was part of the AoE world for a while here, god bless and keep going.
I am so glad I stumbled across your channel. These are works of art. Its amazing to see that there are people still out there who care about such an old game just like me.
I started playing AOM again. When I search for atlantean theme on yt. This video appear in my recommend. And I also watch your pervious vid, Divine Satisfaction. I still love AOM cinematics
As a fan of the Egyptian mythology, I think this video is one of my favorites among all your wonders. I particularly love the Pharaoh is guided by a monkey / baboon which is one of the form used by the god Thoth.
This is an incredible effort. I can't imagine how much time you spent building, setting up triggers and adjusting cinematic shots. I did watch your other videos and theya re in pair with this one. This is cinematography at its best. You make the people who created that horrible expansion look likea joke in comparison. Keep up the good work.
Kemshytposting brought me here This is so wholesome. I'm amazed by the quality of these videos. I really hope you will get the appreciation you deserve for making these videos. Every AoM fan must find and watch your videos.
Serious nostalgia. I spent hours on the map editor as a kid amd came close to mastering the camera movements and c8nematic effects. You are amazing for completing a whole story using them. Wonderful.
Oh. My. Fucking. Goodness. THIS WAS SPECTACULAR!!! You truly are a master in your craft (also the tiny scarabs are so cute :3). Brilliant work, my guy, keep it up :D.
I was thinking to myself how it would be really cool if the Pharaoh arise again as a Son of Osiris and i was not disappoint with the ending, awesome work
man I thought that AOM fans didn't exist anymore seeing the condition of the online multiplayer. but this is some nice stuff mate , subscribed and notifications enabled...
I love how the pharaoh survives two meteorites but dies to a crocodile 🤣. But seriously excellent video, it started off quite dark but got pretty humorous
Played this game growing up as a youngun after school and on weekends. allot older now and still have a real soft spot for this game. You are incredibly talented sir. cant wait to see more from you!
It took me back to the times that I had played this game for the first time... Video is wonderful. Congrats bro. We are waiting for the another scenes :)
The Pharaoh must have really enjoyed the company of his Petsuchos - All jokes aside, this video emits creativity and originality everywhere. Everyone who has played AoM at least once will enjoy it. I personally loved it. Keep up tue good work pal, you are bringing more joy than you can imagine
@@Anraheir By the by, great job. Found your stuff today, already watched quite a few (don't tell my boss though, I'm supposed to work). Fantastic trip to nostalgia land.
I've just rewatched this one and Dying to Live. Can't pick a favorite! Both very inspiring. Here, the pharaoh knows he is the only hope of his people. I especially love how you added the priests blessing the pharaoh as he was leaving, very realistic (and I love the "healing" sound!).
@@Anraheir keep yourself together on your career my man, this is just passion. Just do whenever you want to. nobody have rights to force you make this content, we definitely waiting.
Now think about how it could look with Age of Mythology: Extended Edition, if it looks this way with the old The Titans Expansion... And we're not yet thinking about how it could look like it there was Definitive Edition of the game as well. Well done, creator, all my respects, absolutely worth all the waiting time for it. Just curious: am I the only one who remembered the story about the raft of Noé seeing these scenes?
This is just superb I've never seen such quality and talent put into this game before. All of your work is amazing. How did you get the builders on top of the wonder to build it though??
Kevin Fernandes get the camera inside of a hill; pase and shrink units on the hill; once the cinematic starts, set up triggers to guide construction of a wonder. If you get the angle right, it’ll look like the units are on top of the wonder.
Great job! I'm genuinely impressed this is possible in the game's engine. You're amazing bro, also releasing this after this many years after the game came out. Cheers.
Age of Mythology Retold is coming September 4, 2024 to Xbox and PC :)
will you make more of these?
@@Narr2590 Yes.
What we wouldn't do to resurrect our pet crocodile.
He went through all that just because his croc died.
1000000% better than the Tales of the Dragon cinematics!
Big percentage... hehe. Thank you for watching.

Let's not talk about this
Ya better than them
Jajajajjajajajajaj
Bro we need a Remake of your old Videos with the new Retold Edition!
Im sure anyone who plays this game would appreciate this work.
Thank you friend.
The concept of the Pharaoh being the only one who can restore Ma'at.
Osiris turning to follow the pharaoh with every flash of lightning at 3:24 was absolutely incredible, well fucking done.
Please do not stop doing this AOM is starting to show up in people's recommendations for some reason and it is your chance to have a bigger audience
Well, the audience is always welcome, but I honestly enjoy making these cinematics; designing is fun. Glad the game is getting more attention :)
I started to play again and Im in love with the game even more than when I was a kid

finally the legend is back
The return of the king

and the sons and daughters of Egypt prospered.

Well, there still was a Wolololooo.
That pharaoh gets hit by two meteors, and he doesn't skip a beat. Doesn't even put down the relic. What a champ!
The empire suffering and the pharaoh only decided to appease the gods after his pet alligator died lmao
Perhaps he just needed a "personal" sign.

@@MrDibara Wonderful commentary. I based it on the former, as per the description of the unit in AOM (eg, religious significance).
