It actually wouldn't surprise me. There is so much representation going on in general and think about it this way: If a TimePerson regenerates with another sex, and bisexuality was not a very common thing, every time that happened relationships would become strange or maybe even break apart.

My thoughts too. I massively dislike that I cry when I get angry,mit's the worst. I'd love to just be able to get angry with someone without bursting into tears , and invalidating my own rightful anger.
Getting rid of crying in general would be freakin great for me, because I get a headache and my eyes hurt time I cry. But also angry crying is a pain, especially if I get mad at work or otherwise out in public.

On Jamie's point about speaking to animals:
The Austrian philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein famously discusses in his 1950s book 'Philosophical Investigations' that 'If a lion could speak, we could not understand him'. ... Wittgenstein explains this potential breakdown in communication is because lions do not have 'any conceivable share in our world'.
Essentially our frames of reference are so different that even if they spoke the same language as us there would be no understanding anyway. Its interesting.
And on the memory one, as someone who has trouble letting go of negative memories more so than positive ones, quite badly, I think i would rather forget everything. Because i wouldnt remember that i was forgetting stuff. Remembering too much can be really hard. And i am also one of those "well actually" kinds of people because people are often adamant something happened differently, or i remember something and people's story changes and i realised they lied to me but i know they would deny it so dont bother confronting them.

And as for what Jamie said about their cognitive ability, THAT'S THE WHOLE REASON I WANNA SPEAK TO THEM. I wanna know how they think and how they experience the world. It's one of the most fascinating topics to me. For languages you can just use a translator lol

Cheese is my number 1 reason for not being vegan yet, so I'd probably give up chocolate, too.
There are developing this great thing, where they make milk through bacteria synthesis. So it got same properties as milk. So because its made by bacteria its vegan, and because its same exact proteins that milk has you can make cheese that tastes the same, and melts the same.
And the company that does it, actually doesn't want to make the products themselves, but just make milk and sell it for other companies to do whatever they want with vegan milk.
Might take some years, but i hope it picks up, they released ice cream and it sold out so quickly.

Would you rather only ever be able to visit one place for the rest of your life or be able to go anywhere in the world but never somewhere you’ve already been?
The important part is definition of "place". Does a home, a shop, a worplace count as different places? If so, then neither is possible. You have to leave your home to buy food, go to a doctor, to work (well, unless you work from home) etc, as well as if you couldn't visit the same place twice, you would basicaly be homeless cause you couldnt visit any home twice. If a "place" is something bigger, like a city or a town, then the second option. Because you didn't specify how long a "visit" can last so I could stay in one town/city for a couple of months, a year or several years and then move somewhere else when I get bored of it.

Even as a lactose intolerant person, I still paused at the chocolate/cheese question... I still think I'd give up cheese though, sadly. I'm addicted to really dark, bitter chocolate (70%-80%).

I'm obsessed with they're videos they do by themselves so the videos they do TOGETHER are litterly EVERYTHING. They're too cute I can't-- 😭💕
I so loved the whole conversation around the romantic comedy verses horror film as well as the speak to animals verses speak all languages. Personally for me talking to animals could be useless to disturbing and get you locked up for being insane or studied, where as speaking multiple languages is useful and you could monopolize by being a translator. So there is a clear winner. And for horror film verses comedy I go with the option where I probably get to life and things are good and I don't have to worry about the people I care about being traumatized, injured, or killed.
I was also thinking Doctor Who, but I would want to go forward. I loved the episode where they actually saw the day Earth ended. Who wouldn't be interested in seeing that? I'm too afraid of the Butterfly Effect, so the past wouldn't be as fun, since I wouldn't move or even breathe.

11:04 a point to be aware of is that when I was in the third trime for each of my not-first babies, I started getting flashbacks of what labour had been like before. So not only does the mind hide those memories when we're deciding whether to get pregnant again, IT BRINGS THE MEMORIES BACK TO PREPARE US once it's too late to back out.

I love how much you guys love each other. It does make me want to throw up but in the best possible way. You guys are lovely both together and separately.
As someone who have had two babies with only the help of gas and air, I can confirm that you do forget the pain. I remember a lot of what happened and how I was in pain and the time I ‘primal screamed’ in the midwife’s face as she pushed down and pulled my baby out because she thought I was going to tear (no stitches needed for that one) but honestly it’s more like remembering a scene from a film then a memory.
Would still pick to remember everything though. My mum has C-PTSD and the amount of happy memories she has lost and struggles to hold onto thanks to how her brain now priorities holding onto trauma is heart breaking. Luckily we have lots of photos and trinkets to help her rebuild connections to these memories when she’s having a bad time with it.
- I cry ~20 mins every day anyway so the first one is clear for me. Nothing changes.
- The past. I want to see dinosaurs and meet dead historical figures I admire.
- Only eat uncooked food. Fruit, veggies, sweets, bread, cereal, etc. I'm good.
- Someone I don't know, bc it would be cringy/weird to start dating my best friend. I'd want my partner to become my bf at some point tho.
- Romcom with enemies, bc that doesn't mean I have to date them and I don't want my loved ones to die.
- Red light. I can't live without internet and I don't drive much anyway.
- Any film once. I need to know how all my franchises continue. Sad I can never rewatch Alien or Jurassic Park again tho.
- Sweatpants, come on I gotta be comfy.
- Smarter than average, much more useful in my daily life.
- Pause, I could catch a lotta sleep that way. I'd be too tempted to change the past with a rewind. But pausing gives me time to think about stuff.
- Unable to forget. It'll suck in some scenarios, but better than forgetting important things that I'll never remember again.
- Every language. Much more useful. I don't want to hear what animals can say, I already know they probably hate us. Also people would think I'm crazy talking to animals all the time.
- Cheese. I fucking love cheese, but chocolate wins for me. Sorry, cheese.

Can confirm that is weird not to have the release, as someone who physically couldn't cry for nearly a decade because of anti-depressants. It's very strange. But my eyes itch horribly when I cry so it was better than that!
As a fellow person who takes these too seriously (I refuse to answer any I find too difficult), I much prefer ones like all languages vs all animals because two positive options gives interesting discussions without the pressure of a no win scenario. There should be more of them!

The crying one really surprised me? I cry a lot already so 20 mins a day doesnt seem like a drastic change, but not being able to cry sounds like a nightmare to me. Often the reasons for crying aren't great but I actually really love a good cry? Especially happy crying or sad movie crying or this art is so beautiful it touches something deep inside of me crying. I kind of lost the ability to cry for a bit when I was on too high a dose of anti-depressants and I hated it. It made me feel like not myself. So I would absolutely choose crying for 20 minutes a day!
As someone who has almost been crying every day for the last 10 years, I would say I would rather never be able to cry than to do this.
*I lost my cat Max 10 months ago. He was my soulmate, we had a connection that I have never had with anyone else (human or pet), and I just miss him, a lot. Being a highly sensitive person also does not help, since I cry very easily. I still have his brother Pepsi with me, and even if I live him so much, we just don’t have that same connection.
