She might get little to no sleep, have a ton of energy including all through the night and heck...she's disappeared before for 24 hours in a row....turns out she was buying a bunch of crap at walmart!! So her decision making isn't the best during a manic episode for sure, but violence and anger during a manic episode is actually the polar opposite of what happens with my mother.....during a manic episode everything is great and absolutely nothing is a big deal to her during a manic episode. I personally don't see how violence and anger would even slightly connect to a manic episode from what I've seen with her.

Not sure what you experience with bipolar, but my mother is bipolar and pinning this on a manic episode seems way off to me. She might get little to no sleep, have a ton of energy including all through the night and heck...she's disappeared before for 24 hours in a row....turns out she was buying a bunch of crap at walmart!! So her decision making isn't the best during a manic episode for sure, but violence and anger during a manic episode is actually the polar opposite of what happens with my mother.....during a manic episode everything is great and absolutely nothing is a big deal to her during a manic episode. I personally don't see how violence and anger would even slightly connect to a manic episode from what I've seen with her.
