Martha the Marsupial (circa 1987)

Professor Margaret Sander, an ESL instructor at FCCJ, introduces her unusual pet, Martha the Marsupial. Martha is a Virginia opossum which was rescued by Sander's daughter as an infant and raised by the family. Sander describes the diet, habits, and personality of possums. Along the way she touches on how Martha uses her prehensile day and her near-miss with fame when she was offered a chance to perform on David Letterman.
