If you’re new to my channel, my name is Alex Hormozi. I’m the founder and managing partner of Acquisition.com. It’s a family office, which is just a formal way of saying we invest our own money into companies. Our 10 portfolio companies bring in over $200,000,000+ per year. Our ownership stake varies between 20% and 100% of them. Given this is a YT channel, and anyone can claim anything, I’ll give you some stuff you can google to verify below.
How I got here…
21: Graduated Vanderbitl in 3 years Magna Cum Laude, and took a fancy consulting job.
23 yrs old: Left my fancy consulting job to start a business (a gym).
24 yrs old: Opened 5 gym locations.
26 yrs old: Closed down 6th gym. Lost everything.
26 yrs old: Got back to launching gyms (launched 33). Then, lost everything for a 2nd time.
26 yrs old: In desperation, started licensing model as a hail mary. It worked.
27 yrs old: "Gym Launch" does $3M profit the next 6 months. Then $17M profit next 12 months.
28 yrs old: Started Prestige Labs. $20M the first year.
29 yrs old: Launched ALAN, a software company for agencies to work leads for customers. Scaled to $1.7mmo within 6 months.
31 yrs old: Sold 75% of UseAlan to a strategic buyer in an all stock deal.
31 yrs old: Sold 66% of Gym Launch & Prestige Labs at $46.2M valuation in all-cash deal to American Pacific Group. (you can google it)
31 yrs old: Started our family office Acquisition.com. We invest and scale companies using the $42M in distributions we had taken + the cash from the $46.2M exit.
32 yrs old: Started making free content showing how we grow companies to make real business education accessible to everyone (and) to attract business owners to invest or scale their businesses.
34 yrs old: I became co-owner of Skool.com to help the many people who want to start a business online do so.
Today: Our portfolio now does $200M/yr between 10 companies. The largest doing $100M/yr the smallest doing $5M per year. Our ownership varies between 20% and 100% ownership of the companies. Many of them we invested in early and helped grow (which is how we make our money - not youtube videos).
To all the gladiators in the arena, we’re all in the middle of writing our own stories. The worse the monsters, the more epic the story.

I’ve been diligently working, saving and contributing towards financial freedom and early retirement, but the economy so far since the pandemic has eaten away most of my portfolio, what I want to know is this: Do I keep contributing to my portfolio in these unstable markets or do I look into alternative sectors. What is insane to me that even street level service providers understand this early on. Example, I was providing car modification services to car guys. They always complained about price cuz they kind of understood cars but weren’t willing to do the work themselves. I was always busy but money wasn’t the greatest.
Meanwhile my much younger and “lazier” friend rarely worked and charged 2x-3x what I did for the same job. He worked on “white collar” owners cars and higher end models. Same work as me but more money and sometimes even less work more money. Wow
Listen, I've implemented the TREMENDOUS KNOWLEDGE contained in the Hormozi videos and already made more than $2 000 000 in a couple of years and was able to quit my job at age 27!
This is hands down the best and most valuable presentation I have ever seen in years.
My mother worked in a tiny little bed bath and linen store and kept some of the older stock at the back at marked down and marked down and marked down. One day she decided to double the price. The original price that is, put it at the front of the store, and she sold out within a day. She just did this intuitively but here is Alex talking about the exact same principal. It works!
This works except it also burns people. For example, people often say you get what you pay for. So then why don't people making junk just try to sell for top dollar? Why not sell your Temu tools for more than DeWalt? Don't you get what you pay for? Not if someone is being dishonest. So soon you'll return it, or never return to that store/brand again because once youve had time with the product you'll realize they simply over charged you.
Well analyzed. TA is good but I find it truly baffling that all major crypto youtubers just look at pure T.A and completely Ignore the bigger narrative of why BTC Is dumping and why the future outlook might not be as rosy as it seems. It's kinda irresponsible to ignore the fact that each ETF launch so far has caused a major dump at the peaks of BTC.. We were already on shaky footing with historically low volume and almost pure whale dumps, narrowly avoiding a long-term bear market. more emphasis should be put into day trading as It is less affected by the unpredictable nature of the Market.. I have made over 11btc from day trading with VRI TOKEN , insights and signals in less than 3 weeks, this is one of the Best medium to backup your assets incase it goes bearish.

2. Increase your customer’s likelihood of achieving that outcome
3. Achieve that outcome for your customer as fast as you can

Alex- does your increasing price strategy and approach the same for consumer products like clothing and fashion (quality but not luxury category) ie. I see this effective for services like agency work etc... but how about a brand selling hoodies shirts etc... but most people won't pay for $100+ hoodies $50 tees... how would you price good like apparel that appeals to masses yet perceived as quality?
