Awesome instructions, fixed my issue. It was so simple I dismantled and lubricated all four valves. If you are doing this on a deck, lay down a cloth in front of the bbq in case you drop any of the small items. You don’t want to lose them between the deck boards.
Superb found the exact match for knobs of my model Faber gas hob. Watched hundreds of video couldn't find a solution..thank you so much Johny.. respect from India.
Thanks a lot for the video, it saved me $60! I have a newer Weber Q3200 and one of the valves was really hard to move. The valves come off the BBQ a little different than the ones in your video. But the valves are pretty much the same and the valve parts came apart just like you showed. One of the valves had corrosion on it but the corrosion came off using some 400 grit sand paper. After using the brake lube, the valves turn easily now. I really appreciate the video!
Use a high temp car brake caliper grease. If the springs rust out, you can likely use one off of a ball point pen. On older grills they used red security paint to fill the Philips head on the screws so you need to dig it out with a pick and then use a sharp pointed Philips screw driver.
Does anyone know the name of these parts? Mine is so gummed up that I can even separate the two parts to get in there and clean them so I think I may have to replace them.
Really good production and instructions. The picture in picture was a nice touch

Perfect! This is exactly my problem and with the same grill model. Got one knob/valve that is sticky. Getting some caliper grease today! Thanks!!
Thank you. Worked like a charm.

Very well done!
Thanks so much for this!!! Burner is working again
Great to hear!
Very helpful. Thanks.
Yay! Thanks so much🙏🏽
good stuff - helpful 👍
Glad you think so!
So you can just pull the onobs straight back to get them off? I don't have to worry about breaking anything?

Since there is very little friction between the parts, why not just use lithium grease.
