A lot of good cameos for smoke, been using darrius for easy combo extension off any normals(except 1,1,1,4) or specials including throws leading to full combos and low overhead pressure mix ups with darrius's overhead, considering his kick is like +78 on block you get free mix up pressure off anything
Sektor go brr. Shoot missile on knockdown and force them to eat a mixup( breaks armor). Easy combo extension for 11 (his fastest punish), and restand option with flame fist. The missile can also keep his teleport/ overhead smoke bomb safe which is very annoying to deal with.
Great sets there. I'm gonna call Square Wave by Square Weave from now on. lol I'm using Havik with Sareena, Reptile with Scorpion, and I'm think of picking up Scorpion as well. Don't know with what Kameo yet. Havik is weird and fun, all about set-ups and using his safe meterless armoured launcher in the neutral for pressure. Smoke looks fun. I'll have to try him out.
Smoke is my main and Jax is the best Kameo for Smoke. Smoke needs someone that enhances and compliments his strings which Jax does. While other Kameos come in and perform some damage, Jax lets Smoke do 400% damage in multiple combos.
F3, 2 - Sareena Cameo - 3, 2 - F1, 2, 1+3 - EX Port - 1, 1, 3 Pretty easy and good damage for 1 bar till you get conformable confirming into the DB3 cancel

@@FlashyyGaming Jax can make him combo off his teleport no meter into smokebomb to end combos, his back 2,3,4, his forward 1,2,2,4 and some other things he normally couldn't continue a combo from.
Kameos make a big difference for him so find one that suits you. Also don't go crazy with his moves that are minus like teleport, try to only use them when it's guaranteed a hit
@@FlashyyGaming I was kicking smokes butt the first few days cause everyone was teleporting and it was easy to punish. Now everyone’s mixing me up like they’re supposed to and it’s 50/50 on wether a win against him. Thanks for the advice, I’ll check some of them out.
Dude I started the first 2 days with Raiden but he's so braindead and OP that I needed another char that fits my play style and that's smoke but it's so hard to get in with him... seems like every character in this game has more range than smoke and if it comes to that typical "I poke you poke what you gonna do now?" Moment you're having a hard time though
How come in the first mirror match one Smoke has 1000 hp and the other has 1050? How does that work? I also saw a video earlier where Havik had 1200 hp?!
Thing I can’t decide on is lao and cyrax u can condition people w cancels n stuff but cyrax tornado can make it fully safe and doing his regular vapor no cancel to catch someone mashing has no way of being safe w lao
@@Haptixz It's really just a matter of learning block strings, i.e what's punishable/safe. Also using up-block is a good habit to stop all the jumping attacks

Yeah Darrius is good with smoke I do the over head 3 combo with the normal Darrius Kameo into the 2 hit throw combo

you gotta use his cancels my boy. Thats his best tool.
He is Up Blocking your jump in attacks but they also work on Overheads.

@@NerdLegionIncgoro too can extend all of this strings into combos, albo can give you meterless db4 combo and is overall better
Is Smoke any good for competitive play?
To be honest I feel like pretty much all characters are viable in competitive right now as long as you find the right Kameo to match with them

Find high damage combos with your character that you can cash out with, and find a kameo that youre comfortable with
