There was a giant wave of RAVES in the beginning of the 90’s and the Techno was hard and bumpin - the scene from coast to coast was the new version of underground....but this style right here was the beginning of watering it down.
I'm an 80s/90s/00s child. Most of these peeps were born or in diapers when I was dancing to this shit in the clubs. For an "a capella" group they fucking knocked 90s synthesizer club tracks out of the fucking park!

Todd Rundgren released an album in 1985, A Cappella, where he only uses his voice on all the songs doing all the sounds. Well worth checking out. Flying Pickets was also a group singing a cappella. They had a hit with Yazoo's (Yaz in the U.S.) "Only you" in 1984. Still singing together.

My sons know music from the Big Bands of the 40’s , Doo-Wapp of the 50s , MOTOWN ,Bubble-Gum and Rock of the 60s, DISCO and the Rock Bands , and Solo Artists of every era. They grew up in the 80s and 90s. So we know all these songs. I’d make my own CDS for when I went with them on school trips, and played them on the bus. I know the kids enjoyed them.
