Was great explanation! Just have one question, if both AMP and GMP are present in adequate amount the de novo pathway of purines synthesis is turned off at the amidotransferase step? Why this occur at this step?

1. Uridine not Uritidine. I think you were reminiscent of Cytidine ;)
2. After PRPP joins in with Orotate, a pyrophosphate [PPi] is popped of leaving behind the phosphoribosyl part onto the nitrogenous base precursor, forming Orotidine Monophophate.
