Without good splash damage. Units like Marauders and Roaches would just skyrocket in value. Also, thank god Trigger did not go disruptors. That game would have ended faster if he did

The main reason vikings and libs are op against toss is cause storm just doesn’t hit as hard as para bomb.
I think the splash damage should either be less lethal, or harder to pull off. Storms and nukes are definitely not easy to pull off so they are cool. But baneling and disruptors are just too easy that it “cheapens” the games somewhat.

I'm not tired of Clem at all. I'm tired of people downplaying his incredibly great level of playing by saying Terran OP...
Terran OP nerf widow
Clem IS great. Terran IS OP. especially so in the late game, which is why Toss and Zerg both try to end games against Terran early, because otherwise their chance of success drops off. Recent nerfs (i.e. double baneling nerfs) have made this even harder. Thus Clem goes from being GREAT, to arguably BEST. theres only about 12 players to really compare him to, but when he starts consistently beating them after years of not (regularly) beating them... Terran OP.

@@calmsouls4502 that's like saying being tired of watching ling queen every Zerg game. And worse, watching Zerg being basically untouchable with 100 supply of 70 drones, 10 queens and 20 lings on 4 bases at 5th minute.
Terran is OP. Doesn’t mean that clem isn’t fantastic

I think Clem has had everything but mental resilience for a long time already. He looks a bit introverted, shy, if he can stay confident in his abilities he can totally win a lot of offline tournaments
he just lost today to Maru tho ... a bit of a letdown tbh, he needs his TvT better

Not sure if you "asked" asked at the start of the video, but not getting tired one bit of Clem. First because I'm french so there is a teensie bit of favoritism here, but you also sound more enthousiast when casting certain players, and Clem is among them.

I'm wondering why people find a baneling with +2 melee oneshotting workers is too strong but vanilla widow mines doing the same to probes and surviving this to do it later again is not.
Besides, the widow mine can do it way earlier as well.
What is the reasoning behind?

American here 🇺🇸🇺🇸 you can play the Dutch national anthem at the start of each cast, it's the oldest in the world too. Sure, the Hollandaise have a bit of brand confusion for foreigners, but otherwise the Nether Regions seems like a really lovely set of countries! ❤️
Clem is the only person on serrals level and with the buff to widow mines, he can pass serral for sure

Isn’t the Protoss counterpart of the window mine the Disruptur? But it needs more tech, more supply, more expensive and more time to produce? They both can move around, the disruptor has longer range but easier to dodge their shot, while the widow mine has a shorter range but almost instant shot, plus it’s cloaked AND shots air too.
I like Clems games, but Maxpax and Raynor’s Protoss as well. I still believe the units are unbalanced for the protoss though. The widow mines, the ghost being a really good units against protoss. Protoss are fewer in numbers due to higher cost and supply units, so they are more vulnerable to a EMP shots. High templars are really a good unit but the ghost is faster and has cloak. Plus EMP damage Protoss buildings too.
I don't get tired of Clem. But I wonder if he'd be so close to Serral if the popular vote hadn't caused zerg to get absolutely neutered. Like since it's not blizzard doing the balance stuff, I have to conclude that it's by a perceived popular opinion. Ultras for example, they were shrunk, they still suck, and yet, everyone acts like that fixed it lol. I also sort of think that 40k is partially responsible for terran being the bloated mess of perfect units that it is. Like I'm sorry, but marines are too damn good. I'm shit at the game and I know it, but I can still use my freaking eyes when pros play.
Widow mines got buffed because terran players complain 24/7. Blizz got enough.
I really like trigger playstyle but he doesn’t know when to pull the TRIGGER. He knows its a bad engangment but feels like his hand is forced.
He has so much potential and if he could just learn to be a bit more patient I think he could rivel hero and maxpax

I've wondered a few times if the game being played at very high speed just aggravates splash damage kabooms (12:27). A lower speed would put more emphasis on the strategy side of things vs the micro side?

Increase vidow mines suplly count or reduce range by one or third solution make them pricer cuz they are essentially free right now what you guys think?
Why was Clem flying his factory around 11:57 in the top middle side of the map? Lowko just casually looked at it like two times, and didn't say anything. Is this some kind of strategy?
Terrans usually determine the amount of production structures they build by the army composition they are going to go for and later on into the game when they switch their army composition some structures become unnecessary. So they place them somewhere around the map to grant them vision because they no longer want to use them and they might as well provide some value. You can see this with the mech playstyle very often. Players usually float their first barracks to a place they want to get vision of because you only build the barracks to build factories and maybe some marines in the early game if you want to feel a bit safer. They are quite tanky for their price and if you lose it you can build another one for just 150 minerals.

As a Clem absolute fanboy, I can't say I'm not happy to see him win and massacre his opponent.

Widow Mines are the "weakest" of the three so to say since they are quite easy to split against and then they die almost instantly since they need to be burrowed to fire. Banelings are relatively fast and usually used en masse and are super easy to mass really quickly. Disruptors are a "fire-and-forget" unit since it can move away after firing.
Widow mines are legit the strongest what are on about
Banelings never trade cost efficiently outside of zvz best case is an even trade.
Widow mines are by far the hardest to split against and work both at harrasing and main fight.
Disruptors really only made for the sake of disurptors in pvz. Pvp you lose mobility
Pvt only made cause its the only form of reliable splash damage. The only reason widow mines aren’t made in tvt is cause scvs have an extra 5 hp.
the opportunity / cost though. WM easily super best, banelings super worst, esp after functional nerfs.
Hot take. Widow mines are also cheap and don’t require a lot of micro. You can split if you have the apm and can see everywhere on the map at the same time
