Yeah, man, this was great to watch! I needed to go back to the Facebook group and find you, Greg. 😉 I was watching a lot of your videos yesterday on the TV, so wasn't logged in so I could comment, I especially enjoy your paint videos, very nice! Was happy to see today that I am actually subscribed to you. Looking forward to following your progress, and definitely I am looking forward to see that beautiful Karman Ghia body get painted up really nicely!
@@rsrdevon yeah it didn’t take long to knock the new off of the body lol ! We have a couple other locations in mind . Stay tuned this thing is going to be fast !
Looking foward to see it run faster next time. Check your inner hinge pin to see if its wallowed out like your carrier. The arms are pritty flexy and dont take much to get sloppy. Im still waiting for parts to try and push into the 80s next.
@Okpaintguy2 just had a bad crash today on the shut down at 73mph and I buggered up my carriers just like you I'm afraid that aluminum carriers might be the only way to go.
Surely there is 60mph in this car.It looks so good, just needs that longer run. Weird how the rear upright slogged out, without bending the pin or anything. Maybe the wheel is a bit unbalanced and causing it to wobble? Best of luck for the next run.
The kit has a lot of slop in the arms and uprights. I added a small shim all around to deal with it and the aluminum servo saver upgrade with the high torque servo saver nearly eliminated all steering slop.
Looking forward to full send! Have a great vacation too.
Need the aluminum motor mount, and a blower to clean surface
@@chrisdodson4725 motor mount just came in . Yes we’re definitely trying another location and bringing a blower lol
That's a heck of a shakedown run! You've got a fast car. Best of luck out there!
@@poorboysrc thanks ! I can’t wait to get it on a smoother surface . Thanks for all that you do for the competition !
Great start. Best wishes you'll hit the 60 next time
@@RCBirds thanks ! I think we will get there with the right road .
I missed this in my MF01x search. Watching now tho!!! Holy! That's moving!!
@@Paul__FC Thanks ! I can’t wait to get it on a smooth surface . There plenty left in her !

@@madsrcbuggy thank you and I appreciate the support ! There will be more paint videos coming !
Not bad for the first attempt. Definitely more speed in it. Hopefully you can find a smoother surface to run it on. Poor body took a beating! Lol

I can see this will be harder than the TT02 last year.
@@TeamJunkYardDog oh yeah this car was never meant to be fast 😆

@@aut0bahn thanks for the tips ! I’m going to work on the slop in the arms and uprights.
