I had a 2002 Lincoln LS, I loved that car and found out they made a body of it but could never find one, awesome haul!! Still want a 89 firebird formula body to match my full size car, only the camaro's where made, not my firebird! Love the channel! Great and informative videos, appreciate it, it's helped a lot with my painting and custom RC building.

You are wrong on what shocks was in the first RC 10 kits ( J concept only has 3/16 axle size rims) I was at the Winterchamps for the first run of the RC10T and had cliff truck in my hands
@@johngrant1337 yeah Jason said we could make the 3/16 wheels work with the 1/4 axle with a little work. I appreciate the info I’m definitely not an expert on all of the specs . I ran mostly dirt oval and paved oval through the 90’s . This is my first 10t . I love that I’ve gotten the opportunity to own one finally.
Looks great so far.... Keep in mind, the Castle 5700kv motor is sensored and can run on 3S however, the Sidewinder 3 esc IS NOT a sensored esc..
@@UncleBobsRC yeah I know it’s a weird combination. That’s the way it came so I guess it works . I did bench test it and it seems okay .
@@Okpaintguy2 Like just about all Castle sensored stuff, It starts out as sensored then runs sensorless.. If you don't already have a Castle link or Bluetooth module, I highly reccomend getting one, makes tuning the esc much easier and opens up more tuning..

@@charlesyoung8600 they were actually some cheap tires I found on Amazon. A little loose but was drivable.
Very kntersting video. I solved the wing question by purchasing a body with wing. Good luck for the run.
@@RCBirds yeah that would have been a good idea . We’ll figure something out after a few shakedown runs .
Got mine built, stock run was 14 mph... i have alot of work to do.. lol good luck.

@@BC-rc thanks ! I haven’t done any research on these shocks . I’m going to start with yellow . I may go heavier on the front but we’ll see after the first few runs .
I went with the super soft on mine as they didn't seem very soft. Mine is just a rally yaris/nastruck/euro truck, lol
@@BC-rc yeah I can’t really feel much difference between all of them lol !
If I remember right it’s super soft(red), soft(blue), medium(yellow), hard(white), xtra hard(black)… I have the same ones on my vta car

Looks like a cool little car. You’re gonna go fast! lol. I can’t remember what car it was back in the day. But it was a 4 wheel drive car and I disconnected the rear drive to make it front wheel drive. It went fast! Til they saw what I did then they banned my car lol.

For the servo I’d suggest doing the angled mount as it gives so much more clearance for the arm
