Hi! Really excited to have a crack at this!! I was really curious about two ideas: Adding hinges to the top wall for easier "opening", and also how are you powering the amp?
Glad you're thinking of building it. We tried using a piano hinge for the top and it works brilliantly. Try it. The speaker cab is just that, a passive speaker so requires no power, but you could easily build a box fora combo and include an IEC socket to power it. Hope your build is enjoyable.
I subscribed to your channel and to your newsletter both, with a promise of access to the DIY iso cab info, video, plans, whatever it is you're offering but never got any response or access to the goods. Can you help me?
Hi Lee. Sorry you're having problems. The system sends a download link to the email address you used when subscribing. If you can't find the email in your junk/spam folders can you try again please?
Two problems with this approach. 1)You have to unscrew the front panel to adjust your amp, which will be a maddening experience. And 2) if you buy another amp or your friends bring over their favorite amp, it won't fit. Seek another solution.

Ahhh my fault... i missed that this is for a cab. Gonna mod this for a combo amp!

Hi! I was wondering specifically which 3 D chassis panel you were using. I am having trouble finding one like it.
Go here .. www.canford.co.uk .. and search "Universal modular connection plate". Hope this helps.

Do they sell those at IKEA?

That's true if you use a combo amp in the box, but the design is intended for a speaker cabinet only.
