Hi Luca. I don't think it'll be any difference with dynamic mics.
You can record audio at a lower volume for the effect you’re looking to achieve because there is no “room sound” that the mic is fighting with. Still, you’re best off making a shield instead of a box in this case

I know how you can help you volume situation. Remove one of the 12 inch speakers from your 212 Cab. Cover the open hole with a 12 inch template cut out like a speaker tighten it up. Replace the cab and change your Ohms load to what one single speaker is. There you've just lowered your volume by half again. One 12 inch speakers can not produce the Overall volume that 2 can. Also I couldn't tell if you was using a Speaker cable for your cab or using a Guitar cable. You really should never use a Guitar cable for a Speaker cable. It will burn up your Output Transformer. I didn't know if you knew that or not. Just looking out. Sorry if you did. Great Video bra!!
Hello Tim. same speakers can sound different in other positions (left/right). What if speakers are different? You want wider/fatter tone. Yes, I use stock cable which came with cabinet. Thanks for watching!

It’s a good idea If you just want to hear something while playing your Ax , as for myself my ears .. my ears told me - DON’T !
Look at cost of your materials vs cost of better headphones that’ll give you that onstage loud sound , clarity , tones .. that’ll
give your ears that orgasm it seeks from guitar pick ups.
A simple load box would have been cheaper and it won't take up half your room.
