What a beautiful approach to Calgary. A crystal clear day. Exceptional landing, as usual too. Would be nice if we could get the ATC comms with the right hand seat live in our audio feed Capt. Cheers…
Hi Daniel! Thank you for your compliment. I didn't quite get what you mean with respect to "ATC comms with the right hand seat live in our audio feed" Please explain what you mean. Thanks
@@flymax I’m sorry for not being clear mate. In this video we overhear the copilot talking to ATC. I was wondering if those comms can be made clearer and included with your videos.
@@DanielC__ oh is see what you mean now. Some aircraft’s com panels don’t transmit to intercom during transmission that’s why you can’t hear them well, but some com panels on other aircraft’s do and you can hear them loud and clear.
Those were some absolutely awesome aerial views with everything beautifully kissed with snow and I'm really enjoying the sight of it. I'm hoping and praying for snow this year as I never got to see the first flake of it last winter and what a bummer that was. I live in Maryland where we always get some snow each winter so I was so disappointed, maybe this year will be better. BTW that was a very smooth landing Captain. A job well done.
Hi Wendy, yes that was nice to see it, it was also my first time seeing snow this year😀 I hope you’ll get some, especially for Christmas time. Let it snow let it snow let it snow ❄️
@@flymax I was actually born and raised in Florida where snow almost never happens, now I live in Maryland and I really enjoy the change of seasons each year with fall and winter being my favorite. It doesn't get too cold for me. Let it snow indeed. Hoping your weekend is superb Sir.
This was a tough video to watch. Unsure which I enjoyed more ... the beautiful piloting & handling of the aircraft - as always, or the gorgeous snowy views?! 🤔 ❄✈😍
Yessir this the approach I was lookin for, awesome stuff Max, made my day, and I obtained my PPL today too man. So this video just adds the sprinkles to the cake for me🤙🏼
That’s what I’m sayin man, start night rating in a couple days and doin the rest, so looking forward to some time building. Besides that, awesome video, best Calgary approach video I’ve seen yet🤘🏻
Hey, I am just wondering what airline you fly for? I am guessing either Air Canada or Flair but if you can’t answer my question for any purposes no pressure because I am just curious!
I always wanted to be a pilot. I didn't have money to take the courses when I was younger. I followed another career path and now I'm successful in my career. I'm 37 and a part of me is still dreaming about being a pilot. I'm scared though to take the risk and leave my career to become a pilot at this age. I feel like my time has passed as a lot of pilots I see started in their early 20s. :(
Sorry for being a couple months late to this. 37 is certainly not too late! I would say you have another 5-10 years to get in the business. Plenty of people start in their early 40s or so and make a good career out of it. The required retirement age (in most parts of the world) is 65. That is of course something to consider as you don't want to spend ~$100,000 and not make enough back. I would say take a good look into it, you have to follow your dreams!

I've not seen a smoother landing in any video before this. I had to rewind and turn up the volume to hear touchdown. Thanks!
