My Fast X takeaways: 1) Mamoa is dressed like Carmela Soprano for most of the movie. 2) Ludacris has fully transformed to an exposition bot. 3) The Fast franchise is now serving as a safe haven for DCEU refugees. Zachary Levi will be in the next installment as Hobbs brother in law. 4)It feels like there are no stakes. Not because everyone survives everything all at once, but because there are so many characters that this convoluted story could benefit from losing a few lives. 5) The dialogue is the worst its ever been. 6) Action was as good as its ever been.
I thought I was in-fucking-sane for thinking that gas truck was Optimus Prime. Thank you for validating my sanity 🙏

Holy heck!! Indiana Jones was always my dream Caravan of Garbage series. Fantastic movies but with moments ripe for deconstruction and comedy. Can’t wait! Thank you boys

I was in LA last week and saw some writers striking! I wanted to join them but I didn’t have time to join the writer’s guild 🤷🏻♂️ so I yelled the word “scabs” and moved along
loved the Jeff Goldblum impersonation. I really enjoyed that show, although I only saw a few episodes and thought they weren’t doing any more so I guess I need to look that up. It’s really funny to see him react the way he does to different things. Also, I watch every episode of 2x speed, once you get used to it you feel like normal speed is a waste of time 😵
I don’t think there’s content I love more from these two than them talking about the Fast and Furious franchise. I haven’t even seen the last 3 movies, but their descriptions of it kill me.

I just realized fast x had 2 of the guys who played live action aquaman teaming up
the fast and furious series relies heavily on the shadow of mordor lotr nemesis system. you kill a random henchmen, and his cool nephew shows up 500 hours into the game and tries to kill you.
Defenders bit still funny. I heard it from the other room and laughed out loud. Again.

I just finished "this is how you lose the time war" (I knew it was good but waited for it to be translated in my country), IT IS INCREDIBLY GREAT. waiting for your opinion in the next episode!
In the first movie, Brian was the main character, and when we saw Dom, he was generally careful and tight lipped because he was suspicious of Brian. I guess they kind of forgot to give Dom other characteristics.
Im surprised that no one is talking about how bold of a choice it was to make Momoa’s character flamboyantly androgynous in a “manly man’s movie”. Chris Tucker did it like 30 years ago and they’re still talking about it. I believe its a good choice though. Hes meant to be a disruptor and agitator. Nothing agitates a “manly man” more than an androgynous man. As a troll dating back to the AOL chat room days, its a tool that i have come to use. Requires no work on my part, and produces maximum effectiveness.
As someone who's never watched a F&F and only exposure is these pods; it sounds like the only people Vin hasn't fallen out with/will be in scenes with is the actresses.
1:05:27 I'd like to interject here actually. I've been informed that in some retail workplaces, they often receive certain goods broken. This is because some stock is so cheap to produce, that (seemingly) it would actually cost more to package and deliver them safely, so certain cheap items are often given only the flimsiest of care when packed. Not saying this is necessarily the same thing for cologne, but it is interesting to think about.

my favourite part of Fast X was when they took a break from all the fast stuff and just did a secret bonus episode of Peacemaker.
OK tin foil hat, they've added a movie to make it a trilogy JUST to allow to tech to advance enough for Paul to come. This will then be the test case for how audiences respond to dead actors being billed as main cast members. It will then be an arms race for the studio's to 'own' actors likenesses, both alive and dead.
In retrospect, it should have been obvious that Leonard O'dicaprio is Irish.

Why, when I have this show on dozens of times each as default background audio and theres def a huge number of us, are they only at 121K Subs. And is it me or has it been that low for 3 years now? How aren’t they bigger? Small loyal fan base? Get the feeling they should be up there as gold standard for podcasts

the movie is pretty bad, you can probably get away with listening to the boys first without losing too much content.
then you can watch fast x and enjoy a pile of mindless car action
You could go on a nice walk, or receive a rout canal ,either is better than watching the movie.

Gutted about Y:The Last Man- I'd been looking forward to it for ages and had been saving watching it. Upon hearing this sad news I started it immediately, but only got two episodes in before it was disappeared. What a bizarre and shitty decision by Disney. Of all the awful dross on their site, they choose to bury one of their most interesting shows, out of the blue and barely 18 months after it debuted.
