  • samraz.aweb.page/p/9f2744af-d... If you go to a commercial gym to work out, you're missing out.
You can get the same benefits + more by training martial arts.
THINK DEEPER - stop being a selfish nerd, become an asset to society instead.
If you dislike this vid cos you're a gym bro gimp, then call me out on Insta - @don.samraz and we can fight about it.

I think training martial arts is more important/interesting/challenging. However, lifting weights can also have massive benefit for MMA, as if your stronger and bigger, you'll hit harder. Also it makes your body stronger and more resilient to body shots. Sure the best way is to get hit but getting stronger has a lot of benefits.
Also I think a lot of people train for mental health (anxiety ect)!
Say there was a man stuck under a massive fallen branch, being strong could save his life. Bench press is a push exercise also so if you have a strong bench I'm sure you could push someone trying to fight you and send him into tomorrow

Training weights does not equal combat competence and martial mastery. The people that think they can fight just because they’re big or strong is bullshit and wishful thinking. You also get lifting strength from wrestling alone, so I would also argue that you can pick up other objects off of people if you have that wrestler’s strength. My point is, even though MMA fighters lift weights, we don’t want people to solely focus on lifting weights when it would be taking time away from them actually just learning the damn Mixed martial arts fighting skills. Weights are a supplement, but not the main focus. Some people need a black and white answer, or a simple fucking answer (either one or the other) and videos like these help simplify those choices. 🫸🏼🤛🏼

I fucking love this guy’s mindset. Combat sports > Weightlifting. Finally, someone who has the fucking balls to say the truth, and I know this shit will piss majority of people off 😂 Fuck em, love the mentality, Don SamRaz. 👊🏼🩸
