- Los Angelas is one of the most popular vacation destinations in the world. It is massive in size and very diverse which makes it feel overwhelming to try to see and do everything. In this video we will take you through how we spent 3 days in LA so that you can have an example itinerary to help you plan your trip.
We will be visiting iconic locations such as Hollywood, Beverley Hills, Venice Beach, and Santa Monica. We also took time to visit the up and coming downtown which includes the amazing Grand Central Market and Broad museum and throughout this video we will show a glimpse of some of the amazing food we ate in LA (There were so much amazing food that it was impossible to fit everything in)!
Keep in mind that there is a lot of things that you can do when you visit LA so it is impossible to fit everything in just 3 days. When planning a trip to LA we recommend that you focus on the things that you know you will enjoy and be comfortable with the fact that you won't be able to see everything. Great videos guys. My gf and I are going to Vienna and Prague next month and found your videos very helpful. I am an LA native and I would recommend you try some good taco and fried chicken spots. Also, check out the free Getty museums and the see the space shuttle in downtown.

Great video. And really shows how you have to plan your day. My rule is you can do three things in a day and minus food, you did pretty good. So many perks think they can do more but your day goes really fast. Good call on the sunsets. I would just avoid some areas after dark, including Venice Beach and Olvera street

These are some solid recommendations, the only thing I'd add is most of the locations are easily accessible via the LA Metro public transit system. DTLA itself is very walkable.

Thanks for watching and the suggestion! Great feedback and we will try to include more prices in our future videos. I will say this about LA, alot of the things we did are actually free to do (Broad Museum, Runyon Canyon, Olvera St, Santa Monica Beach etc...) we really just spent our money on food when we were there and if you drive a car when you are there you can choose food options that suit your budget. I will say that the trendy restaurants will be pricey, but

Hello! Did you guys travel by rental car or LA's public transport? :) Thank you!
Thank you for the great question. We personally decided to rent a car when we visited LA. We usually prefer to use public transit when we travel but for LA there were three reasons why we went with a rental car. 1) we found that based on the things we wanted to do a car would be helpful. 2) we found it hard to find an affordable place that we liked which was also close to transit. 3) we were in San Diego and renting a car doubled as our method of transportation from San Diego to LA. We hope this helps!
LA is not a place for public transport you will need a rental car to go wherever you are trying to visit.
I have just cross by ur video. I will be at LA within 2 wks, which places or hotels that u recommend with affordable prices &safe?
Thanks for your question. We stayed at an Airbnb near Koreatown which worked out ok location wise and it was affordable. Staying further west near Santa Monica or other nearby areas would have been interesting but I think that will be more expensive. I can't remember too much where else we looked but hopefully you are able to find something great for your trip.

Perhaps it’s mentioned in the video, but a RENTAL CAR is a must. Unlike cities like London, Paris, or New York, etc Los Angeles’ public transportation system is VERY limited.
The only addition I’d include might be suggestions on parking, which can get pricey.
Or, if you’re taking the subway downtown, what station you got off at, etc.
Otherwise, GREAT video.

Hi, Thanks for the question. We stayed at a place through Airbnb near Koreatown. The location was fairly central for our itinerary!
Rather than Venice or Santa Monica take the day and drive out to Disneyland for the day and in the evening drive to Knott's Berry Farm for the chicken dinner.

Rather than just glimpse The Chinese theater you should have visited to look at the footprints in the cement.

Thanks for watching! There were a couple days where you could see the smog but overall it was better than we feared. Maybe because we were there in December.
Not mentioned, but would also recommend the Warner Bros Studio Tour if you want to “experience Hollywood.” Unlike Universal Studios, Warner Bros is a real hands on, back stage tour of what a studio looks like. Yes, Universal offers some rides and shows (with the exception of the Harry Potter themed area, everything else was kind of “meh”). Warner Bros is better experience if you really want to see a working Hollywood Studio.

All the "beautiful" views are obscured by smog. I lived in a suburb of Los Angeles most of my life. Northern California is much better.
