the setup looks similar to a method I use when river fishing called "drop shotting". only dif is there is a weight where your point fly is. it's a nice way to control where your flies are in the water column. thumbs up rezi!
Your dropper flies are very close together when you show the set up. You're not fishing with them that close are you? As a rough start I'd have the flies 4-5 ft apart.
You likely already have tried it, but the FAB is a fantastic fly. I usually fish the FAB on a fast sinking line(di5), with great success. I have also found that a single FAB on a slow intermediate fished less than a foot down is really effective on picky fish taking buzzers out of the surface film (at dawn/dusk). You can stop the fly and it will hover in place, triggering a strike. Admittedly I would not fish the single FAB by itself, if it was not mandated by the regs here in BC. Good luck.
I've fished the fab a bunch of ways but this season I've had a lot of success fishing a floting line with a FAB on point and 2 droppers either midges or nymphs.
Love Streamer fishing
You have alot of cool techniques i have learn alot from u even tho i am much older than you man
Great channel👍🍺
I tied a bunch of the lock flies like the ones you used. I'll be heading up to the white mts to give a try. your vid is a confidence builder.
Thanks for your explanation of how to fish this method. Excellent video as usual!

Thanks for sharing. Your videos are always very informative. Will you be fishing the white mountains again? Take care.
I am planning to fish there in a few weeks.
@@REZKIDFLYFISHING that's awesome? I really miss the white mountains now that I live in Mesa. Don't get there as much as I'd like
