Thank you so much I was really needing to make a fish batter ir right on time an food looks so good 👍 just found ur video locking you in for more tops 😊
Looks great but I would eliminate the dry flour mixture and just use the beer batter next time. That way, it's more of an authentic fish and chips version.
If I were going to pan or oil fry, I would not add the flour mixture. However, since this is air frying, it would have just made a big mess and the batter would have fallen off. I’ve tried with corn dogs and fried pickles and it’s not fun to clean. So that’s why I use the four mixture. Previous bad experiences. Thank you for watching and for the suggestion ☺️
Oh yeah, I wouldn’t turn that down at all. I just love fish and chips. This is a little healthier alternative to deep fried. Thank you for stopping by ☺️
@@ezeatery Came out a complete mess when i followed this recipe, try it once more, perhaps make the batter a bit thinner, if not then I will try one of the Cod in bread crumbs hot air fryer recipes on TH-cam, they look like they might work out better ?.
@@lovemetu Sorry to hear of your disaster. I’ve made it this same way many many times without issues. Perhaps the difference is in the air fryer or making sure the oil adheres to the flour 🤔 Can never go wrong with the panko encrusted cod though.

Hi Betty 👋 if you click on the description box (the arrow below the title of the video) and click more. The full recipe is there. Just make sure to dip in the wet mixture first, then dry, and spray generously with spray oil. I hope this helps. Thank you for watching! 🥰
Floured fish and chips?????? Don’t you mean breaded? I suppose that is the modification needed to cook in an air fryer. Nothing beats oil fried piece of battered fish, in my opinion.
Hello. In order to get the beer batter to stay on in the air fryer, it has to be rolled in some sort of breading. I used a seasoned flour instead of a panko type. I wanted it nice and fluffy like we get at restaurants. I love it in oil too, but this doesn’t smell up the place, it’s a little more healthy, and there’s not all that leftover oil to dump out. Thank you for watching and I appreciate the comment ☺️
Ok? Have you tried it? It is crispy and not only have I made it this way many times, but I have many people thanking me for this as well. If it doesn’t look good to you, move on. Zero need for unkindness.
@@ezeatery it looked crispy to me :) first time i tried was around a year ago, i made the mistake in battering the fish and air frying, struth!!! what a mess, my new air fryer as well, i always batter then dry coat now, air fryer's do not like moisture as the moisture turns to steam. the dry coating prevents this happening, the batter is not so crispy as deep frying but is crispy, its a healthy option, thanks for the upload, i may add beer to the next fry up.
@@EnigmaOK Hi Mick. I was scared you were going to be unkind, like the person above you. Thank you for being quite the opposite and you explained the process perfectly. I absolutely love it drowning in oil, but I must say, air frying is my go to now. Even more so with the addition of beer. Thank you for watching ☺️

I like the idea of the 2 tier Air Fryer. Can you suggest a make and model ?
Hi Brian 👋 The one I’m using is the Power XL 10QT Air Fryer Oven. I love this thing! th-cam.com/video/PgxDoxwJX3g/w-d-xo.html

Did I use WD40 Oil or what else?
they look dirty did you wash them @?
No, I just pulled them out of the Schwan’s bag. I love using the Schwan’s cod because they’re individually vacuumed sealed and taste fresh.
👍
Thank you ☺️
That fish turned into chicken as soon as she added that budlight.
Hahaha 🤣 Good one!
I did follow your recipe just used a Ranier instead.
Can’t beat deep fried in a homemade beer batter.

Didn' t you watch the video ?
You could have left it in the air fryer a lil bit longer…
I think it would have overcooked the cod and made it more rubbery, rather than flaky.
@@ezeatery debatable respectfully
Dry the cod first.
